I posted my referal link to another player in game and it gave me this notification 

"

You have successfully referred Nemury. Once they have validated, they will be added to your referral list and you will start earning rewards from them as they level up.

 

Apparently thats not how it works so ya I was told to post it here?

The referral was successful, you can view them on your Referral page. There's nothing else to be done here.
