Attack setting slider

I can't seem to find any guide that explains the attack setting slider thing.

In this attack loader, why did i attack with my primary weapon first when i set the slider to 40. Shouldn't i use temporary weapons first since I've set it to 100

What does the number on the slider represent?

With that setup  you have a 100/220 chance to use temp first.  An 80/220 chance to use melee and a 40/220 chance for primary.

Edit.  When you use your temp the odds change,  40/120 for primary for example.

There is an Attack Settings blurb in Mug's fighting guide, scroll down a ways to find it but read the whole thing if you haven't.

If your melee is higher than primary, you probably should have primary at 0. If Primary is higher, you should probably have melee at 1 unless you get a secondary, and probably even then assuming it's better than melee or you wouldnt get/use it.
