Hello. I placed a bet 19:59:42 - 24/01/26 You placed a $296,374,888 (x1.88) bet in the Bookie on Providence Bruins (3-Way Regular time) bet on Bridgeport Islanders v Providence Bruins (Hockey) and the match ended in providence bruins favour. How was it a draw?

3-Way Regular TIme means whatever result was there at the end of regular time is considered the winner. If you had selected 2-Way including Overtime, you would have won.
At the end of regular time, it was 3-3, so you lost.
Be very careful with betting on the bookies, read it 3/4 times over and fully understand where youre putting your money; especially if youre new and especially if youre betting your entire networth.
As mentioned in our Bookie Policies, the 3-way Ordinary time matches are settled based on the score at the end of regular time. The match ended in a 3-3 draw and was resolved in penalties which was not included in your bet.
Hockey
"Regular time" is settled on regular time (3 periods of 20 minutes) only. For "Including Overtime" the settlement includes overtime, but penalty shoot-outs are not included. Postponed matches are void unless rescheduled and played within 48 hours of the initial scheduled start time.

This wasn't the policy for the 2024-2025 NHL season (or seasons prior). What was the reason for the change?
I ask because having an outcome where there is no possible winner seems odd. And as it's a refund, it doesn't appear to be just a way for the house to win even more.
3-way regular always has a winning bet? It is either TeamA, TeamB or Draw (the 3 options you can bet on)
The bets which may be possible to not have a winner (points more or less than X etc) get refunded if it lands on the "X" as you could only bet over or under it.
I don't think anything has changed that, at least not that I am aware of. For 3-way bets, the winner is decided at the end of regular time, Draw is an option because the game can end in a draw at the end of regular time.
Did you click "Show ## additional betting options"? All the ones I've clicked on for hockey shows 2-Way betting options.
See how the one I linked from last season says 'Full Event'?
Now it reads 'including overtime' which does NOT include a shootout.
