I've generated the latest rankings for Torn's major alliances (based on this thread: https://www.torn.com/forums.php#/p=threads&f=9&t=16380940&b=0&a=0):

  • OBN
  • CRyPTo
  • Westworld
  • JFK

Link to the spreadsheet here: LINK (do not recommend opening on mobile, feel free to make a copy).

Methodology:
Data was collected on February 1, 2026.
This sheet is only looking at major map alliances.
The aim of this sheet is to measure alliance power and individual faction growth.
Growth is measured by looking at member progress over the past year.
The following stats were chosen as indicators of growth:
- Activity (hours)
- Xanax
- Refills
- E-cans
- Boosters
- SEs
- Networth
- RW hits
- OCs
- Respect earned

For the most part, i am using Median instead of Average.
This is because Torn has a lot of outliers and Average gets skewed heavily by a few overperformers.
Median represents the mid-point, i.e. 50% of the data is above this point, 50% is below.
For example, Median stats of 2bil means that 50% of the faction are at or above 2 billion stats.
All battle-stat values are BSP estimates.

Sheet legend:
Summaries  -  Quick alliance level metrics and general info
Alliances  -  General alliance composition info
Current  -  Member level current stats
Differences  -  Member level current stats - stats from 1 year ago
Averages  -  Member level daily stat averages (Differences / 365)
Factions  -  Faction level growth rankings. Using median of member level averages (except for SEs because they are too rare)

The ranking in Factions sheet is meant to reflect overall faction growth over the past years by taking into account it's current members. Overall rank is just the sum of all of the other rankings (lower = better).

The growth metrics were chosen by me and there might be arguments that some other metrics reflect growth better, but i'm mostly limited to 10 stats due to API constraints (and not wanting to make twice as many calls) and in my opinion, the ones chosen are a good representation of progress for a faction.

Note: the Stats column in Factions tab is NOT a stats growth over the year, but rather current stats median for the entire faction.

I'm aware that the thread used as the source for faction list is not perfect and some factions might have been missed, but most of the key players should be there.

I might also make a similar thread for all the smaller alliances (from the same thread) if there is interest.

Maybe scrape all factions on the maps data 👀 As there’s a fair few factions in the north that don’t belong to any alliance

Your indicators are mostly growth and not strength oriented. Should consider changing your title as it currently sounds like the rankings are determined by strength.

Edit: Title has since been amended to reflect my comments.

It's like Andymans leaderboard where he keeps adding new metrics and creeping up but can't figure out how to get himself to #1 lol

out of curiosity, what metrics would YOU have used? that isn't the below ofc, maybe races won?

  • Activity (hours)
  • Xanax
  • Refills
  • E-cans
  • Boosters
  • SEs
  • Networth
  • RW hits
  • OCs
  • Respect earned

AFAIK, the rankings seems to be based on your overall rank in these categories above added together to get your score. In other words, all of these different metrics are treated as equal.

It is fair but it will not show the correct image for specific things, like fighting strength, since some of these have no effect on that metric (respect, OC) while others have way higher value than others (SEs more important than ecans)

whilst the "activity streak" makes sense as could do a median of this, however i don't think it represents the power of a faction, i think we can both agree with the fact you could have someone with a 1k+ streak that doesn't really contribute, personally i think even with that addition to the rankings, for the most part the ranks wont change much

OCs is the only metric on there I think is really odd. If you're small and doing low tier OCs (almost all 3-4 day crimes) you'll do more per year than if you're big and doing level 7s and 8s exclusively (almost all 6 day crimes). So "growth" there would actually be anti-correlated with an increase in OCs done.

Respect for faction is a little problematic too, but I understand you kinda need it to represent chaining activity in factions that don't war. In factions that do war though it's likely correlated very strongly with rankedwarhits, which is already in there. Personally I'd probably take respect for faction out and put in total attacks instead (consisting of attackswon + attacksassisted + attackslost). (You have to have attackslost if you care about war assists at all, since any assist where the assistant is interrupted or loses before the lead hitter wins is counted in API as a loss instead of an assist).

If you have those three you can get rid of OCs, rankedwarhits, and respectforfaction and still only have 10 stats, so a single API call, and cover both warring and chaining activity pretty well.

The idea was to focus on faction growth as a total, not individual growth. So running OCs efficiently and gaining respect sounded reasonable. True, it can be skewed by low tier OCs, but top factions won't be spamming low tier OCs and the ones that do will also have lower rankings in most of the other categories. Honestly, i mostly threw them in there because I didn't know what else to add to top off the 10. But I'll see if i can redo it with your attacking suggestions, though i doubt it would change it all that much.

If you read the description, the faction rankings are about growth, not current power. MHQ is a semi-retirement home for titans - which makes it a power house, but a stagnant one. If anything, including battle stats in this gave advantage to MHQ and a disadvantage to TNL. If you are looking for a current power ranking for factions, this is probably not it and MHQ would indeed be much higher than TNL on it.

It doesn't seem too skewed. MR is top in OC and I definitely am not spamming level 1 OC's.

I am curious if there is a way to track income with OC's per fractions. That would be a list I would be very interested in to see.
