Get a good lvling target list and then leave them once you defeat them. Use FFScouter to get a good estimate on the targets battlestats or there's a bunch in the guide list.
FFScouter also has a levelling list finder, personalised to the stats of the person to show the highest level targets they can beat :)

Fight people and select leave option.
Maybe your faction can loan you a proficiency weapon to use for the last hit, it helps a good deal.
Mugging and hospital give much less exp. Don't mug inactive accounts on public lists, it's been done your just wasting e.
Everything gives some exp but attacking and selecting leave is by far the most.
