I have a few questions about these

Firstly: what's better, Revitalize or Warlord on a primary weapon?

Second: What are some good bonuses meant for debuffing enemies, specifically on secondary weapons

Third: What are some good damage bonuses for melee weapons?

Ken_Ichinaka [3312334]

I'll answer the third question ... my favourite is RAGE. It's pure RNG, but when it procs ... whew.

Conventional wisdom is EVISCERATE though. Hit once with that on your first turn (or after a temp) for bonus damage with your primary weapon.

I use eviscerate on melee...you can get it on really decent weapons (blades) and its a straight up % damage increase. Useful as both an opener for yourself or in group attacks to help your friends.

There's math involved in exactly what % warlord vs revitalize is better...im sure somebody has calculated it but idk where the results are. Something to note is that warlord is possible on good fighting weapons (like rifles), while revitalize is only available on SMGs, which are very suboptimal. For competive fights warlord is likely better from a practical and performance perspective.

Revitalize will always be better for chain hits on much weaker players.

Secondary weapon are usually used to buff yourself (quicken), but can be useful to damage...like high execute weapons.

Secondaries are pretty much inferior to primaries, so exactly what to use is much more up to debate.

It's not quite so cut and dry for perks, something good in red or orange might not be so good in yellow.

I like this  Guide.  I aagree with most of it and it explains well why some are good or not in different ranges.

I use quicken on melee for targets hard to hit.  Eviscerate is a can't go wrong choice if it's on a good base.  As you get more mods from mission points in the shop guns become a good damage source and most use melee less.  Eviscerate still shines in this role.  A good tactic is to have each slot server a purpose that works with the others.  Like primary for big damage,  secondary for vuff or debuff or a on kill bonus like warlord or revitalize and then your melee to fill in a weak spot.

Like a hammer and a saw, Revitalize or Warlord do very different things.  For chaining, fighting weaker opponents in a contest like Haloween the Revit is my go-to choice.  For winning a RW, especially in a faction that pays based on prestige gained, Warlord is usually better.

Q1: You shouldn't be buying a warlord personally; it only benefits the faction, so it should be purchased by the faction and in the armory. But warlord will put up better numbers during a war than revitalize. However, revitalize can be important for higher level players if your main purpose is shutting down enemy attacks and chains rather than gaining points. Also, revitalize is useful for events like halloween and chaining during valentines.

Q2: This depends on your build as well as your opponent's. Let's consider all available debuffs though. Eviscerate is only available on shotguns (in the secondary slot), and the only secondary shotgun is the blunderbuss which has terrible accuracy, so I wouldn't recommend it. Same with bleed, if you want to consider it a debuff. Cripple lowers the opponent's dex but is also only available on shotguns or heavy artillery, both which have terrible accuracy. Weaken is also only blunderbuss. Which leaves slow and wither, which are available on smgs, and wither is also available on pistols. If you need either, I guess they can work, but they wouldn't be my first recommendation for your secondary slot. Oh, and paralyze and stun are also heavy artillery and shotguns. So, i'm not a huge fan of either of those either. That being said, if you are a dex main, slow might be a good way to go, or if you have great speed, perhaps one of the pther debuffs might work for you.

Q3: Eviscerate is a good one, since your main damage should be coming from your primary since special bullets and mods are way better for damage than not reloading. Rage can be fun, but very luck driven, and fury can give excellent numbers as long as you don't miss and reset the bonus. (And assuming you can last defensively for a long time). Bleed and deadeye can also add a good bit of damage, and crusher on metal nunchakus is also strong.

Generally speaking, rw bonuses should help to fill the gap in your stats and ideally, you'd have several in different loadouts, for different situations. I would personally leave the secondary slot for utility bonuses and quicken, since there are many dex builds out there, and i'd use melee for debuffs, like eviscerate or weaken. But it depends on a lot of different factors.

Warlord and Revit spawn at diff ranges, Warlord can get higher.

If you don't want to do the math, just go with Warlord is better if it's 4% or more above revit.

Reason being Revit can proc on energy generated by Revit so it should be calculated as a bit more than baseline.

An example would be 25% chance to revit has 25% chance to proc on the new energy. So 25% of 25% is 6.25 bringing it to 31.25. But then you add 25% of 6.25 (1.56) and drops to f**k all after that. But basically 25% revit would be between a 32 and 33% Warlord.

Most revits are much lower of course, but the same logic applies. The ideal is revit+warlord combo but those are extremely expensive and TBH all but cheap warlords are pretty far out of your reach.
