Is there a gun range or something equivalent in order to incease gun attack stats?

There are merit points you can put into specific weapon types and the more you use a weapon just in general the Experience on that weapon increases. You can see your experience level on the weapon in it's details.
Just go to the gym and focus on strength. It helps
