They just don't want to make a code that has to check the gender and output "his" or "her", it takes resources and it's cheaper to just have one that doesn't do any of that and says "their".

Singular "they" is not only gramatically correct, it's also older than singular "you". So if your concern here is actually to pretend like languages don't evolve, you should at least be authentic to the timeline and exhibit actual proper English with some "thous" and "thees".

Not just "ONLY", but "ONLY". They had to underline it. Trying to claim a monopoly on being both queer and a faction leader when there's thousands of active factions in this game is definitely an ego trip lol

Personally I don’t think it’s vanity, it’s a lack of substance in their personality so they make a thing about being lgbtq and make it a issue because there’s nothing else about them to talk about. 

this doesn’t just apply to members of the lgbtq community, you see it everywhere with the straights in groups like MAGA, they don’t really care about politics, they’re covering for the fact that they have no personality. 

I don't know what half of yall are talking about. i know other factions have queer leaders, i used to be in one! our description doesnt say we're the only faction with lgbtq leadership. because obviously thats not true. our description says we're the only faction thats ran by lgbtq players FOR lgbtq players. part of why i made this faction was because i did a lot of searching for a faction that was explicitly by and for queer players and i couldnt find one. we've had several members who joined because they too were looking for such a faction and didnt find one. is it possible that there's one out there and it just didnt show up because of how or with what words we were searching for it with? yeah sure, duh. but we've never found them. we'd love to meet them, we'd love to ally ourselves with them. and we would change our description too at that point. so in conclusion: 1) actually read the entire description and not just the first line 2) if there's other factions ran specifically by AND FOR lgbtq players, plz point them out, i'd like to make friendly with them 3) you dont know anything about me to be saying that my sexuality and gender identity is the only thing about me that i have to say. in fact i think its probably the least interesting thing about me (do you make a faction and in the description list every interesting thing about yourself? no, thats ridiculous and no one cares anyway, it has nothing to do with the reason the faction exists) and most importantly 4) wtf does any of this have to do with the topic of my forum post? lmao
