As another 2 year old player, I agree. I’m still doing nearly the exact same things I did 2 years ago. 

While many people start out by first figuring out what the game has available to you, and then deciding to become the best player in that area of the game. i like to simply follow the award system. I am always pushing for the next award. The way they have designed this is basically perfect. Follow your next awards if you don’t know “what to do” in torn. Simple.

if you are new, It’s in the merits section, you can see all of the areas that are available next to progress. 
I think the way torn has built this merit system up is pretty awesome. It’s super rewarding to earn the next merit or next honor bar. 
im always left wanting to do more. The game has a lot of content available for new players. While your standard 17-18 year old players have likely already gotten everything done it’s plenty of new content for me or you. Tons of things to do.

Solid guide, great starting summary for anyone just starting out. The unfortunate things is, the people that will read this more than likely know most of this and the ones that do need to read this, don't read (stupid considering its a text based game)
