Citizens of Torn, I rise today not merely with a suggestion, but with a calling.
We live in a city of chaos. A city of thieves, killers, muggers, addicts, scammers, arsonists, and degenerates of every imaginable variety. Every day we are stabbed in alleys, shot in the street, hospitalized for pocket change, and hunted by people who would sell their own grandmother for a favorable market flip.
And yet, in all this glorious madness, there remains one weapon conspicuously absent from our arsenal.
The Good Book.
I say it is time no, long past time for Torn to receive the most righteous temporary weapon imaginable.
Not as some overpowered instrument of domination, but as a balanced, hilarious, and deeply fitting temporary weapon. Something with modest damage, average accuracy, and unforgettable flavor. A weapon not merely of force, but of statement. Of purpose. Of divine disrespect.
Because let us be honest: Torn is not lacking in targets worthy of correction.
Yes, this would be perfect during Halloween, when M'aol and his demonic legions rise and the city needs cleansing. But why should the holy work end there? Evil in Torn is not seasonal. It thrives year-round. It walks among us in the form of vault thieves, scammers, buy muggers, and every other shameless creature that makes this city the lawless pit we know and love.
We must cleanse Torn of all demons — both of this world and of others.
And if that cleansing occasionally begins with a Bible swung at full force into the side of some unrighteous citizen’s head, then so be it.
Let it be glorious. Give it average accuracy, low-to-moderate damage, and some absolutely legendary attack lines.
Imagine the possibilities:
- “You struck them with the holy word.”
- “You delivered righteous blunt force.”
- “You brought scripture to the battlefield.”
- “You beat the sin out of them.”
- “They were judged, immediately and physically.”
Tell me that would not instantly become one of the greatest event items Torn has ever seen.
This suggestion is not born from greed. It is born from vision. From conviction. From the simple belief that if we are to stand against demonic filth, then we ought to have the proper tools for the job.
This would not just be an item. It would be a mission. A calling. A sacred duty placed into the hands of the people of Torn.
Let the honest citizens use it in defense.
Let the chaotic citizens use it ironically.
Let the wicked fear the sound of pages rustling before impact.
In a city this cursed, it only makes sense that sometimes the answer is not another knife, another gun, or another grenade.
Sometimes the answer is the Good Book, applied directly.
