Jesus famously pulled off a sick comeback by rising from the dead on Eggster Sunday, but what's the greatest resurrection you've ever seen in Torn City? Was it a player rising from the fed? Maybe it's Torn itself after we recovered from the infamous RESPO dip to reach nearly 100k players? Or is it the story of how Relentless died and reemerged as a subjectively beautiful butterfly in the form of Monarch? You could even draw a theoretical resurrection if you wanted, one that you'd hope to happen in future, like the return of Dog Tags or Torn of the Dead.
Whatever it is, we want you to draw, paint, or sketch your resurrection story for all of Torn City to see. You can create your artwork by hand or digitally, but the use of AI filters and tools must be minimal. Any entries suspected of being entirely or mostly AI generated will be disqualified. We're running this contest in order to reward talented artists, not those who slapped some words into a text box and clicked Send.
THE RULES
Create a piece of artwork themed around Torn resurrection.
Your artwork may be crafted physically or digitally, AI use is limited to the use of filters and inbuilt non-generative tools or we will trap you in a cave for three days.
Include your name or ID and the year somewhere in your image.
You may not use entries from previous years or wet wipes after more than one wipe.
You may submit up to three entries in one post.
We stopped running the egg decorating competition because we'd only get about two good entries each year. Don't @ us, it's your own fault.
The winners will be selected by the Community Events Team.
The decision of the judges shall be final and no correspondence or discussion or trials by combat shall be entered into.
All entries must remain accessible for a month after the closing date. We cannot judge entries uploaded using Discord.
All entries must be submitted by 23:59:59 on Friday the 17th of April.

1st place: Gold ribbon + honor bar + 1,000 points + special gift + Gold Paint brush
2nd place: Silver ribbon + 500 points + special gift + Silver Paint brush
3rd place: Bronze ribbon + 250 points + special gift + Bronze Paint brush
