I'm responding to what is posted in this public thread that I started, same as you are.

Us vs. them is exactly the opposite of what I want to make this.

I started posting here to try and reach common ground with people, and to try and humanize each other, since Torn gives us the opportunity to interact with people from different countries in ways we wouldn't have otherwise. I think people like Smilin and a few others attack me because they want to paint everyone who believes in Israel existing as some sort of extremist. He wants to make it an us vs. them, which you will see I have called him out for over and over again.

Blood on the other hand, yeah, I don't want to get too into it with him, because he feels he is standing up for his country, even though we disagree on a lot and I would never address him as disrespectfully as he addresses me. It's a crazy situation when someone you have played a game with for years thinks your homeland is putting his under existential threat, while at the same time people aligned with the group he supports in his home are seeking to remove self-determination from my entire people. How do you resolve something like this? At the end of the day we are all just people who want an opportunity to prosper and provide for our families in some degree of peace. It is the leaders of countries/militias who call to war. 

I believe in Israel existing and I also believe in Palestine (and Lebanon, etc) existing. I know both are led by extreme hardliners and we are so far from peace right now, but conversations with people if they truly believe in peace and justice for everyone are a way to start, and a way we can make perhaps the smallest bit of difference in this little corner of the internet.

Given we cannot turn back time. Everyone that wants to live in peace and return what is rightfully to their owners and if dual state with majority of land to the indigenous people, is accepted that is between the people. I am against zionist 100% and I am thankful to be exchanging with a person that hopefully is not one and stand for what's is right.

It is hard to be living in such dark times but the other side been in it through years and 'our' grieve and thirst for justice will strive along with embracing 'you' who is also a 'victim' by your ascendant action as long as you stand for what is right. For instance, it is a fact your homeland is putting our land under extreme conditions (to be extremely moderate here). To believe in this and stand with your neighbour is what will lead to co-existence.

We are fair people and just. Crusaders kicked Jews out of Jerusalem. When Salahuddin conquered Jerusalem, he ordered the army to go find the Jews that had been living on this land for years to come back to their home. We are just people and united in faith and humanity.
