I make about 30-40m per week on average from faction OCs (OC 2.0)

Money from normal crimes the income varies, but just doing cracking pretty consistently gets me 1-2m a day (kinda rng dependant).

Aye, to be honest in 1.0 I wasn’t making much but I was focusing CE for OCs - as a newer faction PAs weren’t a reliable source of income for us. I find OC 2.0 is a good moneymaker though, and C2.0 has helped in that regard massively.

As an aside (feel free to DM), are you still on 1.0 with hacking? This year I’d imagine 2.0 crimes will become more and more profitable, as we’re starting to get to mid/late-stage crimes now.

Switched at Halloween, but been taking it seriously. Arson was released before I switched. The only thing I feel I missed out on a little at all was scamming emails. Overall pretty happy with my decision to stick with 1.0 so long and I think pretty solid timing on going to 2.0

Yeah, most of my current day-to-day income comes from Scamming now (1.2m emails). Investment waves net me a few targets a day, romance about 5-6. I only do the higher paying romance targets and generally do any investment.

The upfront nerve cost of farming the emails is large, but once you’re there it pays dividends for a long time into the future!

Yup, and Torn is all about setting up for long term, so the dunk getting there is more than worth it. As you can see I've ONLY done automated mails collecting for now while I work on others (did 1 scam to learn the system and rest is gathering) Pretty close to max EVERYTHING except forgery otherwise, that one takes a lot of nerve but when it's the only one left it should go pretty fast.

Something not discussed that should be mentioned is that the OC income is pretty top heavy:  Level 7+ OCs in 2.0 effectively double daily income over 6's.  It'll take approximately 50-75k offenses to start doing these effectively (75-80NNB).

Which for most will take somewhere around 2 years with just natural nerve and the occasional event participation.

'Finishing' Crimes 2.0 (100CS in all) will take around the same amount of time from my personal observations.  Which is around when you can start utilizing your nerve for the 2-3m daily that's been discussed.  You might be able to do this earlier, but skipping around isn't recommended.

temporarily, OC2 makes a lot more on that side, and some of the most efficient crimes in 2 makes around the same right now, and we've only seen the early-mid tier crimes released out of the promised 30 ched wants to impliment lol

Once you hit 100 skill in all crimes and have 20 skimmers in gas stations to claim once/year (or 18 months) buying bodies, some cracking, arson and scacmming targets all are damn close to what C1 made (barring the overinflated cossie of late lol, which is obviously unsustainable long-term), and the plethora of merits and uniques (that are a one-time big $/n vs normal spam in the crime) makes up for the slight loss, before even considering getting into the higher tier OCs (anything BFTP+ really)
