What's the math on comparing these bonuses to each other?

Guides say that Deadeye is better. At what point is Expose better when comparing the same weapons?

Expose is all about having more consistent crits and less junky fights where you don't crit at all.

Deadeye pairs best with lasers and special ammo to increase the chances of getting a one hit kill that ends the fight.

Both are fantastic specials. It's hard to really say if one is definitely better than the other that would come down to preference or what role you fill in your faction's RW strategies.

The correlation is tough because of what is known as "overkill" where the damage you generate no longer matches the life you take from your opponent's healthbar.

As an example, if your opponent has 3,500 life remaining and a critical hit will do 3,760 damage, you generated 260 damage of "overkill."

Overkill tends to hurt Deadeye a lot more than Expose, especially at higher strength:defense ratios, because it takes an already large number and bumps it up further.

That said, Deadeye has a ton of value early in the fight against full life opponents and virtually no value later in the fight when any critical hit will end the fight; whereas Expose tends to shine later in the fight when you're just trying to land any critical hit to end the fight.

Armor matters, your battlestats vs. your opponent's battlestats ratio matters, strength-generated-damage matters, accuracy matters, the damage stat of the weapon matters, etc. So there really isn't an easy/universal formula that equates expose to deadeye.

Hope that helps!

Deadeye is better as i noticed its indirect counter to dexterity as you are wearing weak helmets as dex whore.

Obviously im not into SE territory or anything, but i have somewhat considerable dex for my age and Deadeye is bonus i fear the most as this one can one shot me.
