I think it is number 3,
As I assume there are 3 unrelated consequence on 3 rows, related only by changes from left to right.
So by dividing the shapes on "left" "middle" "right" on each row, I see same algorithm in changes.
For me the change from "left" to "middle" is the addition of a line in top left corner.
Then change from "middle" to "right" is anti clockwise rotation by 90° and vertical by the middle vertical line of shape
The correct answer is 4 in my opinion. I noticed that in each row the triangle rotates 90° clockwise. In the columns you can see that each column has its own rotation pattern that keeps the same shift.
I thought i had it but the answer isnt one of the options :P
Well, the intersection of the second row and third column is blurry and we don't know if the top right edge is closed or not.
We can split in these 2 options:
Option 1 (we assume the top right edge of the blurry position is open):
Then, as it has been perfectly explained by LordOrlok, the correct answer is option 3 (The second column adds a stick on the top left edge to all the pics from the first column and the third column applies anti clockwise rotation by 90° and vertical by the middle vertical line of shape).
Option 2 (we assume the top right edge of the blurry position is closed):
In this case, the algorithm is totally different. We take the bottom row, then, for each image, we check the common edges between bottom row and middle row, and the result is the top row. In these case, the only possible solution for the third column in the bottom row is the number 6.
i think the pattern is:
You start with the empty cross at the top right.
If you go down once you place a string on the bottom left, if you go down again you move the string by 180° to the top right.
if you instead go right once you place a string on the top left, and if you go right again you flip it 180° so it becomes bottom right.
THIS is assuming the 2nd row 3rd column icon is open. if it isnt then i dont know
