Edit: As company director, you get some daily training in all stats. You can't use trains on yourself.

If you have someone you trust, you can switch them to director and have them train you, but you can't be trained in the director position
I believe 5 star and up (maybe it's 6+) give the director 50 gains in all 3 job stats. Under 5 (6?) gives 10 less per each lower star. Don't quote me on that. But iirc 1 star is 10 in all 3, 2 star is 20, etc then at 5(6?) it tops out at 50 in all 3 daily.
You are right about the +50 at 5 stars, but it isn't linear. First two stars only give 5 per star, third star adds the 10, then the last two give an extra 15 each.
