According to maths that shows that passports are the best for CS gain after 90CS. It's in the forum guide for forgery. Considering how long forgery takes I thought I'd try and get to 100 as efficiently as possible.

If this I'd how people are doing it it's a stupidly designed crime. There should be a fair and reasonable rate of progression that doesn't cause you to lose valuable (or even irreplaceable without buying someone elses) items.

Urm... the thing is though.
The way Forgery is designed is that even when you unlock the new jobs, it doesn't mean you're good enough to do them.
This is a bit of a trend shared over virtually every crime in that when a new location unlocks, you need to work on your skill level before it becomes safer to do.
Burglary.
Hustling.
Arson.
Pickpocketing.
They all follow a similar structure.
Forgery is no different.
Try to do license plates when you first unlock them. Yes they give amazing XP for their level unlock. But their fail rate is VERY high. Do them at level 75 and suddenly the fail rate drops to almost zero.
Same is true for passports.
They become much safer to do once you hit level 100.

Honestly the Forgery Supply Chain is badly designed in my opinion which I once put down to "They have more/better crimes coming in later" but by this point they are taking so long to get that done that supply of critical items is drying up.
By the time they add the later crimes Forgery is meant to feed, no one is going to actually be able to feed them.
-The item is an Unique drop, every player gets only one
-The item can be destroyed, essentially locking you out of the crime
-Yes you can buy it from others but that only means another player is locked out of the crime instead.

Based on this logic, everyone should be buying up and hoarding the item then.
Except I don't do the crime and gladly sold mine - same with thousands of other players.
We aren't 'locked out' - we just simply don't want to do it.
Huh, no wonder I never got another one lol, I’ve been farming embossers for the longest time and did not get another Hot Foil Stamper.
I just spammed birth certificates and only did passport to get the merit due to the cost of everything.
That doesn't take into account critical failures/failures in general. It's just easier to make drivers license to 100.
No it literally takes that into account, the money is a different issue, but the best item to make from 90-100 is passports if money is a non-issue
I can't even lie this is a reasonable crash out, take this like.
Either they plan for the bajillion new players to feed this item into thr economy before quitting, or another crime down the road might start producing the item. Can't aee them letting the crime die.
