Its toxic af, the same handful of morons just go round and round trying to catch each other out and, the biggest point for me, the loudest voices here are from people I wouldn't give the steam off my piss to irl.

So I'm done.

Have fun in my absence, running rings around the hard of thinking is no longer fun, your stink has worn me out.

I'll pop back to see the absolute carnage that ensues once the orange turd finally karks it.

The thread is a good opportunity to think over what will need to be done to start rebuilding once Trump is in the ground.

The biggest feature of this era has been the undue influence of billionaires on government to prevent oversight against them. Allowing one person to have that much power is an existential risk. We'll need a strong wealth tax and a stiff progressive inheritance tax.

The current broligarchy is based on a bubble of uncertain technology that is indisputably built on copyright infringement and plagiarism. There needs to be strict oversight and if there is anything beneficial once the lawsuits over causing people to commit suicide are over with, the only fair way to handle a toll made from stolen goods would be nationalization or something similar.

We'll need to start on aggressive action to deal with the parts of US life that have become increasingly unaffordable. That requires public work projects to build housing, create a proper single payer medical system, and reform higher education,. kicking out all the bloated administers and make being an academic professor a less agonizing job.

Unfortunately, the Democrats are currently captured by the exact same interests as the Republicans.

Until Chuck Schumer (a Jewish supremacist) and Hakeem Jeffries (a half-wit with the charisma of a dead donkey) are removed from power and committees assignments are based on merit rather than seniority nothing will fundamentally change.

Well we get to either sit on a hole and complain about it, or we start to make a new Democratic party with a new agenda to avoid the Sloppunk dystopia we're on course for.

Schumer is up for election in 2028 and his incompetence in dealing with Trump has been on full display. There will be a very strong primary opponent for him. He may decide to retire rather than go through a slog like that.

I'll redirect specific Dem Party reforms to the appropriate thread, though.

I call my seven year old a Republican every time he's acting like an asshole. But then I realized, he's not acting like a Republican.

Republicans act like him. Children. And I f**king love making fun of dumb kids.

Laws and regulations on algorithms and social media. That's not just US. This would need to be done globally.

You shouldn't get fed endless content, endless scrolling shouldn't be a thing. Content on your feed should only be from what you have selected to follow. Some will still be neccesary and it should be transparent how they work. No one should be able to control what you're getting shown. I think some places should reconsider having option to leave comments on their platform. Works to decrease bot farm influence.

There are a lot of factors to fix here. Social media has definitely been seen as a net negative as currently set up.

Re-emphasis on social media as a tool to interact with real social circles and end the current style of a combination of yelling in the void and seeing tons of para social influencers selling diet drugs and fascism. Discord has some potential features here where communities can be set up with invite only membership and such.

More spaces designed for children and young teens. This isn't about age restrictions per se, but things like club penguin etc where the content is designed for kids where modern internet pushes everyone into weird locations where elementary school kids can end up learning who Aaron Tate is etc.

We never agreed on much, if anything, but you're not wrong that this place is toxic. If you can get away from it, you should, and good on you if you can.

daprinceomar [2125322]

you will be missed. its fun to make fun of the losers here.

P&L is Right wing RACISTS/ IDF Cucks  vs Everyone else with a brain.

It's a tricky one. I mean, it would be quite boring if everyone here agreed with me.

I personally think it's quite funny to watch Steppy, Rewindz and some of the other halfwits here metaphorically shit in their own hands and start clapping.
