Im still a newish player and i keep finding new items (got jewelry store unique of Raw Ivory recently for example) and wonderin gwhat they are, if i can get them anywhere else or if its overseas how much does it cost. Just for convenience without needing to open the wiki then search it, you could just click an icon in your inventory to go directly to the item wiki page.
