Edit June 3rd: Due to territory wall joins being infinite once you join them (switching between walls - I didn’t know). Removing territory wall joins being a category.

TTT Competition Timeframe: Will start on June 1st at 0:00 TCT, will end on June 30th at 23:59 TCT.

Since we have many new players within Torn since the last TTT competition in June of 2025, I'll give a brief explanation of it's history and what it is for: 

TTT History:
The Torn Tenacity Trials (coined by Sugarvalves and Myself - I said June Tenacity Trials initially and he responded with Torn Tenacity Trials, and it was perfect). TTT started as a competition that I made in May of 2024, first named June Torn Wide Comp within the title. When it garnered a lot of interest Sugarvalves reached out to me and offered to have Torn City Times sponsor awards as well, along with a newspaper article. We had a few thousand players. Did another competition in November of 2024, but a shortened one due to Halloweek 100k chains, and I figured it was also good for Torn's 20th anniversary! The last competition was in June of 2025. 

TTT Competition Goals:
To compete with other players and your own best scores, of doing the most you can within a category. For instance most of a drug taken, or most flights; just do as many of something as you can within the month and compete with others as well as your past scores. In the past many players have gone all out, I do ask that people do things safely in their lives and not risk others or their own health with this comp. People have told me about pulling over from driving to start a new timer. 

Reminder of Torn Rules:
Please keep in mind that you should follow all Torn rules, in the past a few people were caught cheating. Please make sure you look into any scripts you download that there is no automation. Saying you didn't know, is not an excuse for Torn staff, please review things before doing things. 

The Categories usually change a bit each competition, due to how things have gone in the past and feedback. Some of the categories are more likely to be best for torn veterans, some may be better for torn new players.

This competition was made to be a source of fun, and also a source for the people of Torn to have a challenge if they wish it. Back in 2024, some competitions were removed for upgrades, now even with them thankfully coming back, I hope people still enjoy the competition.

People who got the special items from M'aol where they can use extra things that most people cannot, those items cannot be used in the competition. 

Books and Job specials may be used.  People going from crimes 1.0 to crimes 2.0 cannot win in any of the crime categories if they do it during the competition.  More information will be posted in the FAQ as things come up.

Those Helping with TTT
With Past Competitions, Omanpx has always helped with the data and he will continue to do so. Please remember that because of Torn making it so that other people's stats are only updated once a day, we will only be able to update our sheet once a day. It will state on the sheet when the update times will be. 
This year, Omanpx post in this thread, and a mod will be able to pin it - to keep all information in the same thread. 

I also have several helpers who I'll be putting the names of who are willing to help either with questions or sending items at the end of the competition. If you've offered to help before, and I have not reached out to you, or if you want to help this year, please message me and we'll see if things align for you to help out and how. :)

This year, to further promote the competition and give people a place to talk to others about it. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

1. Question: Why isn't xyz category part of this years competition?
Answer: Either because it wasn't great to track with current data tracking methods or other potential unfairness.

Regarding Specific Categories: 
Finishing Hits: They would all be with people who bought losses, making it against the spirit of an endurance competition.
NPC Fights: Trying not to disrupt the Loot Rangers discord even more, it becomes very chaotic. People get upset. It's just not in the spirit of fun.
Mugging and Bounties Placed - Not really in the spirit of fun, and I didn't want them to increase because of the competition.

2. Question: Will this interfere with the JLT Races? 

Answer: The qualification phase of JLT goes until June 6th. Each player would only have to do 1 race during that week. Then the JLT tournament is until June 14th.  Even if people make it to the championship, depending on the category they are trying for, it should be completely fine. Flight categories might be harder though. 

3. Question: Some people have asked if we're going to be going with stats based on how the Bazaar rankings are, or how we would track people with bazaar categories.
Answer: It will be based off of players personal stat page, as we have done almost everything else over the past competitions.
Further Info on the Question: We were informed by a player that with the bazaar rankings, there is some question of how players are counted toward which category or potentially excluded based on whether there was a dollar sale or not - to minimize any confusion - we will just be going off of personal stat pages as we always have. 

4. Question: Is bounties collected, bounty money collected or total amount of bounties completed? 
Answer: It's total amount of bounties completed. That way it's a category based on energy used, versus a money category and even new players could do it. 

5. Question: How are the bazaar categories fair? As people can just cheat with them with making everything extremely high and having people just buy them over and over and - then be refunded after the competition and other questions about bazaar manipulation?
Answer: To award the top 5 - we're going to ask for logs, bazaar logs over the month. People cannot make things excessively expensive - should be normal bazaar amounts to be counted. So for bazaar customers - people are encouraged to try to get people to come to your bazaar with trade posts or asking faction members or friends etc.  --- With bazaar sales and revenue - that should be normal amounts or lower. It will likely be that those who trade advanced weapons may win the revenue category - but the sales and customers would likely be others. Hoping that 3 different people win with different approaches - but never know how people will approach things. :)  

6. Question: What’s allowed with Bazaar categories to stay within the rules? 
Answer: $1.00 sales, and having small amounts than normal prices for bazaar sales. Larger amounts by the normal increase for traders - we can track how much items sold for in the past, so we can see if people made large differences.  -- People can also try different normal incentives they had before for getting people to come to their bazaar but if you're unsure please ask.  Since a person asked, you can hosp other traders, or other things within torn's rules.

7. Does withdrawing blood count if it's in the faction armory? Or does it have to be in your inventory?
Answer: Withdrawing blood counts with both, both will increase your personal stat.

8. With the thread I only signed up for category X, can I still compete for the other ones?
Answer: Yes, you can compete for any of the categories, even if you initially put down a specific one. We're tracking all categories for everyone signed up. :)

Important Notes:

1. Zenarchy [2631831] was disqualified from illicit services, because they transferred from crimes 1.0 to crimes 2.0 during the competition.
2. Jairyll helped with logs for categories: Xanax, LSD, and Illicit Services tie breakers. 
3. Jairyll helped look into logs for those who got the most wall joins. She was able to see that they all had to use 5 energy. I also looked at the dates for each person, to ensure there weren't any done during the first days of the month. Feeling very confident about the results.
4. Omanpx got the most xanax overdoses by looking at those who took xanax on the days and overdosed - versus other drugs. 
5. Others who may have been disqualified were not within the top 5 of a category.

Regarding the Bazaar Categories.

At this point, upon discussion and going over a lot of different thoughts and idea on the issue. I have decided I'm just not going to do bazaar categories in the future is the most likely outcome.

Had many people message about different things. Because of how broad I had things be in the end regarding how people could try to get customers, having lower amounts, there were so many variables.

Also ran into some issues where people sold back and forth to each other, but because of the situation, I'm not entirely sure if they even realized it, they likely were just going for the cheapest amounts within the bazaars.

In the end it became a mess. Tried to figure out a way we could ask for xyz logs and then go through them, but honestly didn't think that the  amounts would go so high and neither did Omanpx. 

Right now, in order to keep from there being more issues - going to just go with it and have the results be as they are. I don't think anyone blatantly cheated, there were maybe some gray areas but in the end I blame myself for having things be too broad. 

Interesting Facts:

1. The retaliations category was an incredibly close race!
2. Cattoo won 3 categories. Came in 2nd in one. With illicet Services they were very near the top. --- They have won at least once in every TTT. In the first TTT they won most revives. They won many categories with the second TTT. In the 3rd TTT they got most revives again.  I see their name and I instantly think tenaciously determined. :)
3. I do recognize many winners from past ttt leaderboards - just kind of felt like Cattoo was one of the most prevalent.

What Can Be Used or Done:

What Cannot be Used or Done:
- Obviously no breaking Torn's Rules. 
- Item's from M'aol or his minions that give a user a very unfair advantage over other users. - They can still be in the competition, but they have to be in a category that wouldn't be affected by the special item.
- Migrating from Crimes 1.0 to Crimes 2.0 during the competition, this will disqualify the individual.
