Can owning and building a business pay the owner well. Is it worth it financially to spend all the college time to build a great thriving 10 star business.

If you are patient and make wise decisions, yes. Need all education and the stocks to be competitive.

you can easily be in the red not counting initial investment if you are sinking high $$ into advertising to offset poor employee stats.

if you are either patient and grow with your employees, or hire  stat appropriate folks for the position you can easily be profitable.

some companies are much more competitive than others and take significantly more advertising budget to be competitive and advance/rank up. If you are ok progressing more slowly it’s easy to keep advertising more moderate and stay profitable.

Yes. but. . .   Employees are real players, a limiting resource, and there are way more people who think they should be in leadership roles than really should be in them.   If you are patient, treat people well, do the courses and buy the stocks, absolutely you can get to 10*.   How you make money may not be from selling items, if your biz sells items.   I make maybe 200k a day "profit" from selling items but my real $ is from selling trains but that is just one of several ways to do things.
