I was just reading these Highguard devs bitching and moaning on xitter because they got laid off for doing a garbage job (what a shock) and i realized that adult social media posts in 2026 read like a 11 year olds diary in 1990

Good thing i can stop myself by just thinking "man why am i reading these, i have better things to do, like do my taxes or click on a obscure browser game, etc"

World App is sketchy af

World app has a huge potential.. especially in digital era.. their goal and objectives were ambitious but if you analized it very well you'll see that it's actually more than that

These days we see more and more fake accounts even here in Torn, and that makes me think that the Dead Internet Theory is getting pretty real

Anything with a potential recursive loop can be easily proven real if your only focus is anecdote. That being said, yeah it is getting pretty real and we're curating for that.

Why did the man choose the bread over the prison key?

Is Torn a simulation of perfect economy?

The man didn't choose bread because he was foolish or short-sighted. He chose bread because prison had already shaped what he could imagine. Freedom was a concept too distant to feel real. But hunger? That was real. That was now.

The key represented a future he couldn't trust. The bread represented survival he could hold.

He wasn't choosing bread over freedom. He was choosing what he understood over what he'd lost the ability to reach for.

How come that in current year when there is an "ufo sighting" somehow we STILL have the worst quality recordings known to man, even in the middle of nowhere at bumf**k street, people have 420K phone cameras in their pockets, but when an "ufo" comes they still record with a piece of toast and upload it in 144p quality

I'm into gemstones but I never understood the word cleavage in geology. I'm very pleased that someone finally explained it to me in a way I understand. It's the tendency to break on axis similar to wood grain while chopping. It's something now that I understand because it's helping me understand the different crystal systems a lot more as well and I love this interest of mine lol.
