We usually fight all our wars but are considering using terms from the start this time.
What respect should we be aiming to negotiate for to gain a maximum losing cache award? (As a percentage of the initial winning respect).
I gather it's not straightforward but any help would be appreciated.

Thatsl an easy 1, dont term, then ya dont have to become a boring cache farm where no one knows how to actually fight a real war when the other side refuses to term.
We usually don't and we've had some unexpected wins by being persistent and getting pretty good at turtling. I agree it's a lot more fun and a perk of being in a gold/silver faction.
But this time the mismatch is so big it seems the only option.
In a term, just aim for around 50% of the target score which would be about 2k points and then let them pull it back to the win or vice versa. Then work out a split for total loot, 50/50% tends to work.
I completely get that, we currently have a match that is a definite loss if they have any sort of a turnout, (check out our last war haha). This week is gonna be another hard one.
Usually even on a huge stat and activity difference, if you are able to have Turtle discipline and have a good turnout on pushes you can almost always hit minimum at the very least even if you never gain control.
