Getting snipped on remugs

I have noticed a pattern in recent months. I didn't pay too much attention at it at first as I thought it was a coincidence but it keeps on happening.

If i buymug someone, and he doesnt log in for a few hrs, i remug him. Right after that, the target gets mugged by someone. 

All seems normal, but this other mugger, only mugs if i remug, so when I mug a 2nd time. I can mug my first target say Monday, and then again Tuesday, so 24 hrs, no one mugs him during those 24 hrs. But as soon as I do the 2nd mug, someone starts mugging the target too.

9 hrs between 1st and 2nd mug and amount seems ok considering less money on hand and maybe low roll. almost 24 hrs later and just 1.3m, target offline for +32 hrs

2nd case:

Clearly someone started mugging after my second remug as i should have gotten +15m from 3rd and 4rth mugs.

Not sure if I am the only one noticing this, but there is something fishy here. Is it possible someone is tracking the API of most active and best muggers and then leeching our targets?

Is there any other way to lose money while being offline?  If not, it seems like you could watch networth update after midnight TCT and if it declines with last action more than a day, you could estimate how much money is available for mugging.

I'm other words, your second attacks happen to be shortly after midnight so it might be coincidence that they get remugged after your second mug. 

Public API use seems less offensive than someone in your faction seeing you mug and helping you drain the target.

Edit: I guess points, market value and stocks can fluctuate so you'd have to look for big drops.

definitely odd. All of the attacks were anon too as well, so it isn't as if they are just looking for "mugged by infernal" like was stated above. I do wonder if someone could just be sitting on your initiate page and tracking your attacks? and if you are remugging, they know you have a decent target?

True, I guess it would be pretty easy to just do a status check call and have it ping you if that player goes into hospital for a mug status within a period of time.

 Maybe go threw faction attack logs and see if theres anything to see there

Yes, but after 12hrs with no mug, when u can get max mug, u give up on thst target, no? There r thousands on mugged ppl each day in Torn. U cant check all anyway

Not the first strange mug post I've seen but holds a bit more merit than most considering some factors don't you have staff in your faction ask them bro. 

Semi serious I think there has been an uptake in players and subsequently an uptake in mug bots/ API trackers / cheaters  to what extent not sure but I would contact other  big sellers / muggers and see if you can collect  more evidence.  

Or submit a ticket/message staff and hope. 

Edit after reading everyone's comments:  could just be someone checking hospital or potentially stalking same targets. Torn pda has  trackers that give notifications when someone gets hospitalized. Maybe someone is actively also tracking those players?
