Im not sure if anyone else has noticed, but rhe clouds while traveling. Man, just stare at at the clouds, and realize the torns sky is basically mother nature’s lava lamp. One minute you’re seeing a dragon cruising through the universe, the next it’s your old math teacher(Who I secretly had a crush on, she was like 60 but she always gave me candy and she smelled divine), riding a dolphin made of mashed potatoes. That’s the beauty of the clouds, dude they don’t judge, they just vibe. It’s like the universe handing out free imagination with every puff floating overhead. Sometimes I think the clouds are just the earth exhaling its dreams, and we’re lucky enough to catch the show if we slow down long enough to watch it. I also saw a duck and a dinosaur which I felt was pretty amazing as well.

Unless someone is using a bunch of fancy words with impeccable grammar and has a decent amount of tech skill, then the em dash is probably legitimate use by a human.
If it appears in a paragraph with artificial typos. Then yes, clear giveaway that is a AI generated text(probably passed through a humanizer to make it seem more human)

Cool story bruh (did I do that gen z thing right?), lets do an experiment, go to google and look up the opening to Chapter 1 of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (written in 1818, loooong before AI, or so we think?) And paste it into your fancy little AI detector tools, Bet you will get the same result i did.
Thing is, ALL AI is trained on classic writing, human language, and loads and loads of data, those AI detectors worked when AI was still young, but unfortunately for the boomers and try hards, we are past the the uncanny valley when it comes to LLM's.

Likewise, someone in modern day seems ignorant to the fact ChatGPT is widely known for em dashes and as a result they are widely not accepted any longer.
Every correct use of an em dash can be replaced with two properly written sentences. They are handy occassionally in reporting or scientific explanation. They are not a valid (socially accepted) product of todays gaming forums. At least not where users want to read actual human written stuff instead of AI.
TLDR; using em dash makes what you write instantly not credible due to the age of AI.

They also uses exclamation points ohhh no how will we ever tell the difference when the AI checkers literally no longer work???
God this whole deal about everyone flipping out about AI is oooooold (I did it once or twice too, im not blameless), but for the love of the God's, who the fuck cares if Bob from england, or fucking terminator wrote it?
