Hypothetically if a tracker for missions were implemented do you think it would help game play?
I've been playing for a fair bit, I'm a restarter (my previous account was deleted) and I sometimes forget what exactly the mission had stated. I find it a tad inconvenient to switch between what I need to be doing and going back to the mission tab.
Just think that it may lead to a smoother game play experience. The tracker could be a pop-up which you can tap/click and drag to move as to not interfere what you are doing to complete such mission, or be small enough/placed in a way that would not cause any further issues with the game.
Would you use this feature or just find it useless?

I don't think it's necessary. I would be quite concerned if I was somehow unable to remember the objective and the steps after just reading them.
Also the effort of switching back to the missions page to double-check is negligible. If you haven't done so already, you can make that even easier to do - add a missions shortcut to your navigation bar by adjusting your navigation settings.
For those with Donator at least, if they indeed can't remember it, an option is to copy the TornTools Mission Information and mission checklist to the Notepad which works even on different pages.
