One thing that probably should be implemented: I sat at RW I and saw that there was 2 spots open at RW (original). When "leaving" one table and sitting down at the same stakes, you should be under the same "cooldown" of two hours where you need to sit back down with your whole stack (as long as you're up), but I was allowed at RW (original) with 200bb.
I thought about this before we pushed, but I came to the opposite conclusion. In the end it's a different table even if it's the same stake/size, making it a different game. In a real casino if I win 200 blinds, I can move to the table 3 feet away and min-buy if I want to. Ultimately I'm not rat-holing money from the set of players I just won it from.
Open to changing my mind but this is my experience in casinos as well as places like PokerStars
I would agree with separate tables having separate cooldowns.
My (admittedly limited) casino experience is opposite from yours, if I remember correctly - not allowed to just move one table over and min-buy-in, would have to sit down with the full stack from your original table.
Also, if you clear out your table and sit at a "I+" table and want to join one of the other tables, it would feel limiting to have to reduce your stack and not just move it over to another "equal" table, I think.
In my experience, that's not allowed. You have to take your full stack. I think it should be the same here.
Yeah if noones paying attention you can get away with it but at least here youre "supposed" to move your stack. Nothing stopping you really from "going to dinner" and coming back though unless theres a waitlist. I dont really play on tables where this would happen often, but make the rats wait 2 hours.

I've never played in a poker room that lets you rat-hole money by switching tables but I also don't understand the logic entirely, since you're not denying the same players a chance to win back their money.
I think there is a crossover of people treating Torn either as a real life cash game (cause they play a bit more like that due to familiarity)
And looking at it purely as online poker, which, switching tables in online poker you don't take the same stack to another table.
It looks like at some point Pokerstars limited the number of times you could do it to prevent constant table breaking.
Yeah as I said I'm not stuck on one way vs the other, actually anything that further prevents ratholing is sort of preferable to me. If the more common experience is that switching tables is also not allowed (same stake obviously) then we will look at maintaining this across the duplicates too!
This addition is very much needed as no doubt told by pretty much everyone before me. Still, looking at the list of tables open made me happy enough to open the forums and share my delight of having more than one table of preferred levels to wait for a seat to open, not just one.
This is a great thing, is there anyway you guys could also try to make it possible to play at multiple tables at once? 😅
