Once the new city finds page was updated all of the items that I had waiting to be claimed are now gone. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue.

They are all still there - your extensions/tools are just not making them show up on the zoomed out map any more.
Zoom in and you can see them to collect still.
There are also about half a dozen bug reports right underneath your own report. That should answer your other question of "Not sure if anyone else is having this issue."
