Hey folks, since JusticeDragon has gone mostly inactive and openly stated they won't be maintaining their original thread for company pricing, I've decided to create a new thread to continue the project. Back when Justice was still active, I revamped the spreadsheet for usability and added notes documenting the sources of the prices for full transparency. I contacted Justice asking them to use the link to my up-to-date sheet in their OP since no one else was maintaining it, but unfortunately didn't receive a response. I figured the best approach from here is for me to make a new thread as the current caretaker of the data.
The goal of this project is to document real prices that Torn companies have been bought and sold for to create a transparent market where everyone can know they're getting a fair deal. The spreadsheet is fairly straightforward and divides companies by type and star level and documents price ranges that companies of each type and star level have sold for. You will likely notice that not all fields are documented. This is the reality of relying on reported data from players. However, I see it as a benefit. Other than a few legacy entries with no documentation, every listed entry has notes with quotes and post links citing where the data came from. Honestly I am considering removing the legacy entries because it detracts from the transparency of the project. You also may notice some of the entries make absolutely no sense, like higher star level companies selling for cheaper than lower star level companies. Again, this is a natural result of data farmed from a wild market with no regulation. You will have to extrapolate and interpret the existing data to come up with reasonable conclusions about fair market prices for various company types and star levels.

As always, please leave any and all data about company purchases and/or sales in the comments below. Entries for companies with no existing data are particularly appreciated, but all data is valuable as it helps track trends over time. If you submit pricing data, please include the company type, star level, sale price. Supporting documents, if available, are always welcome.
