It's less about age and more about lifetime income, the comp that has consistently 20% more net consostently will reach the threshold for lifetime income that much faster, esp in something as competitive as ANs
can you explain a bit more in detail since i don't really understand why it would be lifetime instead of weekly since im seeing the company's with like no weekly income going down meanwhilemy comp which has almost 6M income is not going up a star and yet it seems like the comps who have less weekly have a better chance. and does the popularity have any say in whether i go up a star or not
There are two factors to fullfill to go up a star.
- Weekly income (which you say you have already)
- lifetime income(which you don’t have). So to get more lifetime either bump ad bud( not advised unless ur really in a rush) or just wait until you get the lifetime income
Popularity means nothing. It is simply your daily or weekly sales compared to that of the number 1 company of the same type. So the number 1 AN has 100% popularity.
They are correct in saying it is your lifetime income that you are lacking. Each star level has a threshold of total sales that must be reached in order to star up. Think of it as exp. and leveling up. Only when you reach these thresholds will you even have the option. Weekly sales are the pvp aspect of companies. You need to reach the lifetime sales threshold as well as beat out competing companies, in order to gain the next star.
Before you ask, as far as im aware, the sales threshold for each star has not been made public. Maybe some directors have tracked it and mathed it out, but if so, they did not make their info known to the wider public.
One thing that helped me is keeping track of the lifetime income of your company.
What I see so far is the lifetime earning threshold for your company to star up is typically at 1.5-2 times the previous one with the exception of the lower star level. Say, if your company lifetime earning when you get to 2* was 14m, then the next one would probably come at approx. 28m.
I'm sure it varies by the company type too. It's just a way to kind of estimate when you need to make a push for it.
