Citizens,
Today we're releasing the second phase of Traveling 2.0, continuing the rollout with the first major changes to the travel meta. These updates are designed to open up more viable strategies and give more room for emergent gameplay to develop.
Phase 2 adds a visible travel inventory panel to the top of the page while flying and abroad. This panel indicates each empty or filled slot within a citizen's travel inventory, allowing interaction with each item. Standard travel sees a significant buff to its travel inventory capacity, while the capacity provided by suitcases is decreased by 1. During this phase, it will no longer be possible to bring weapons and armor abroad. Travel times will also see a minor reduction across the board.
- A panel for your travel inventory has been introduced, showing each individual item you have with you and each empty slot available.
- Items within the travel inventory can now be used while flying and abroad.
- Items can be sold back to shops abroad, increasing the shop's stock of that item.
- The standard base travel inventory has doubled from 5 to 10, bringing it closer in line with Airstrips.
- The additional inventory provided by suitcase enhancers has been reduced by 1, from 2/3/4 to 1/2/3.
- All travel times across all methods have been reduced by 5.26%, calibrated to offset the reduction in suitcase capacity.
- Weapons and armor are temporarily restricted when departing Torn during this phase.
- Weapons and armor purchased abroad can still be equipped, though ammunition will not be accessible.
Thanks.
