I'm currently posting this with TornTools enabled.
I flew to SA this morning to do the mission to beat player with a rifle , when i landed i had NOTHING equiped, no armor temps guns, nothing. I made sure b4 i left that i was ready.
Wasted flight and 5 hours, if i equip and fly back i want to know it'll work.
Please advise.

There was a heads-up given to the players about this and the mission was also removed from the spawn list about a week ago as mentioned in the announcement here. I am afraid, you are out of luck here.
