[GOOGLE PLAY RELEASE]

 

Starting today, Torn PDA and Torn Lite are available on Windows via Google Play Games (note: this platform is still being tested by Google and might not be accessible to everyone/everywhere yet).

 

It’s important to note that these apps were not specifically designed for this platform, so there may be some significant limitations (e.g., the absence of notifications when the app is closed). Over time, we might be able to make minimal adjustments to help support their use on Windows (for example, by adding navigation buttons in the browser).

 

Please bear in mind that the development platforms for Torn PDA and Torn Lite remain Android and iOS. As everyone knows, there are already excellent tools available on Windows that help us in our day-to-day activities with Torn, so it doesn’t make sense to focus our development efforts in that direction.

 

Nonetheless, I believe that using Torn PDA or Torn Lite on Windows could have certain advantages. For Torn PDA for example, when it comes to developing and testing scripts (which can now be edited with the keyboard and tested directly in several screen width configuration), chaining, etc. I can think of plenty of other cases as well.

 

Please note that to fully take advantage of the desktop display, you might want to enable the "Allow auto rotation" option in Settings.

 

Finally, it’s likely that we’ll create a separate channel here on Discord to discuss topics specific to the desktop versions.

 

NB: There is another version in development that is 100% native to Windows (currently accessible in beta only), but for now it will remain on standby until we determine if it makes sense to continue its development, as it has even more constraints than the Google Play version.

The Google Play PC beta version won't allow me to use an API key to link my account. No matter what type of API key I input it says incorrect key. I've tried Public, Limited, Full and nada. I've even tried making a whole new API key for it alone instead of reusing my TornPDA key that I use for my mobile TornPDA app. Any tips?

My bad it referenced TornPDA and I was specifically searching TornPDA when I happened upon it didn't notice it was for the other Torn app :) if I could delete my messages I would

I got logged out of my torn app the other day and since then i have not received a push notification.

 

Everything i've found online states i need to reset the notification token for the torn app.

 

I've found a few things having to do with deleting the app and changing your date/time and redownloading, along with shutdowns of my phone during this.

 

However nothing has worked.

I really hope there is a way for me to fix this.

Hello there, I’m no longer receiving notifications such as energy full and travel notifications, and I can’t change my notification settings. Whenever I try to toggle them, I get the error message: “There was a problem changing your notifications settings!”

I’ve already tried reinstalling the app, logging out and back in, and toggling the settings multiple times, but the issue persists. It’s happening on both my iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 26.5) and MacBook Air M2 (macOS Tahoe 26.5.1), both running app version v1.3.6 (58).

Any help would be appreciated.
