Very true aswell. Its like scamming. People dont like it, but its allowed.

Besides, if colluding ever made poker unplayable, anyone wanting to prove its a problem would just have to grab a bunch of friends and make a few hundred bill on poker. Pretty hard to argue with that. I dont see anyone doing that, so its not a problem

I agree it seems like it's ok to collude in this game, like it is scamming. But then maybe we should name and shame known colluders the same way we do known scammers.

what does condemning it mean to you tho ? officially illegal? so then how do you catch colluders who don't communicate via torn?

if they were to declare it officially illegal they'd put themselves in a position where they'd be all but forced to invest significant resources into making it enforceable and actionable, which they've previously stated in this very thread they won't do.  Either accept it as part of the game, or take advantage while you can, or abstain from the tables.  Those are the options.

if they make it illegal then they need to be able to enforce the rule.  They can't do that without serious investment into detection, as was stated earlier in the thread.  You think they should ban it and then just do nothing about it?

evidence of what kind exactly?  What could players submit that would:

1. prove collusion to a high enough degree of certainty for staff to act;
2. that couldn't be manipulated by the players making the report (can't tell me there wouldn't be a group from, say, M that wouldn't be willing to toss down 3b manipulating a table in such a way that makes it look like a group of, for instance, PT players were colluding in an attempt to get them banned);
3. and in a way that was simpler than the team actually implementing detection systems themselves.

You're also completely ignoring the backlash that staff would get from an announcement that collusion is banned but they won't be lifting a finger to look for it themselves, and the increasingly heated accusations of bias anytime they actually banned someone based on a report from other players.  I'm not saying your idea is bad, but you need to think it through and sort out the issues that have been pointed out several times now.

I think collusion includes more than just two people. 

It's even more evident that it could include people that multi-account as well as collude with others, which would make everyone in the collusion ring abiding which is also a bannable offense... An example would be LustDragon69 getting banned for abiding someone else that was supposedly multi-accounting

The hard truth: you are complaining about collusion but the cause for your complaint is lack of skill.

Torn allows poker collusion. You don't have to like it, but that is the current situation. 

It is true that it is a hard problem to solve, and given that complexity, the focus of Torn devs isn't (and shouldn't be) making poker less open to collusion. Bigger fish to fry.

It is also true that collusion is not some chronic, pervasive, widespread, penetrating issue like you seem to believe. Others have rightly called out that collusion is ineffective in practice, mostly because the people seeking to collude are pixel-cash-broke, suck at poker, or both.

My advice? Try fighting to be happy, instead of right <3 because at this moment you're not right, and you're not happy. You could be one of those! But, if you're determined to be right, you'll end up being neither.

There's good money in colluding. It's basically playing with 2 or sometimes 3 hands. The problem is finding good collaborators. I do recommend playing and honing your own poker skill all though some chance does arise when you can proposition collusion 

I mean we could start a thread to find people with whom to collude against colluding players. We'd just have to be aware of malicious folks conning us into thinking we're anti-colluding together when the whole time they were colluding with the original colluding players to steal our hard earned torn bucks. It's quite the quagmire.
