Flashing page when reading newspaper with google translate on browser

The newspaper is interesting, but I'm not a native speaker. Reading the newspaper for me still takes a lot time, sometimes I just want to use translation to quickly understand what's happening in torn. But the server time will keep updating every second, and hence, flashing the page. At least that's what I assume based on my observation.

 

Here's a recording to what it looks like recording. It happened on my phone, and can be easily reproduced just by developer mode in chrome.
I'd really love to see this fixed for me, and I believe that people from other countries also facing the same issue.

Can you replicate the issue in Incognito window with all of your scripts and extensions turned off?

 

Can you also check another browser like Firefox to see if it happens there too?

On Firefox, it's totally different issue. After I click the translate, it translate to my language. But as soon as I slide it up or down, it changes back to English again... 

It does not flash though.

If it works fine natively without translating the page, then I am afraid I cannot help you here. I can ask the devs if there's a solution for this, but we generally cannot and do not fix issues that get introduced due to you changing something on the page (through translate or through an external tool).

I think the chrome translate is not a plugin or extension. It's natively support by chrome. I mean when I use chrome on my cellphone, the chrome is natively by play store. So it's not that I installed something extra by myself. Can you check with dev and reconsider about this?
