Newsie upvotes

I've had a thought, I should be able to "upvote" in a sense, a quality newsie. Often people put a lot of thought, or research, news, if then here there, whatever! Graphics too, Into their bulk send newsies! I'd like to be able to upvote a newsie to give that person the +1 karma they deserve. 

Obviously, this does allow compound karma farming. so the frequency of "upvoteable" newsies would either have to be restricted, orrrr limit 1 newsie upvote per user, per 7 days. max farm would be like 100 every 7 days, either through means of bullying, payment, or actually posting quality content! 

Now don't forget the inverse, I guess why not downvotes too? "dammit this is the 9th newsie this morning! We're barely 10 minutes into war!) some people ey? jkjk

TLDR karma gain for sending quality newsies. 

At first I honestly thought you meant newspaper articles, since they only have a view count (as far as I'm aware).

nah, if the newspaper doesn't put a tldr I don't read it most of the time.

I think having an upvote feature for faction/company newsies would be handy just to see who reads em and who doesn't haha. Or if you're taking some sort of polls, but then again thats what the faction/company forum sections are for. There are already upvote-able forums for those.
