I noticed the Torn wiki had the following description for The Companion Script : Ubay:

 

The Companion Script : Ubay is an early handwritten slice of Qur'an text, supposedly linked to Ubay ibn Ka'b, a prominent early follower known for his recitation and status in the first Muslim community. Muhammad's "Companions" were those with him from the beginning, his ride or die bitches, who were there when the Qur'an was first being recited, memorized, and written down. A Companion Script is that person's own working copy of these early writings, kept for reference and often adorned with personal notes. These Companion Scripts are hugely important historically, and collectors will pay a fine price for them, moreso if you've got all three.

 

I was hoping that the underlined section could be re-worded as it can be interpreted as highly disrespectful to those of the islamic faith - even if it said something along the lines of 'ride or die homies' it would have the same effect to a less offensive degree.

Wiki states that "bidding war" has 6 participants. That is correct, but 9 participants are paid off equally.

The 6 from "bidding war" and the 3 from "no reserve"

One player can be paid off two times, if involved in both OCs.

On the 'Print Store' page, under 'History', the 2nd line states 

Print Store used to buy following items, but were removed on 7th of March, 2023.

but the Print Store didn't exist until September of 2023, I assume its meant to say '...7th of March, 2024.' as it coincides with the date of Patch List #329, where changing the Print Store to only buy forged documents is mentioned.

I have just completed the Bare Knuckle mission and it said I failed. Took a few attempts only dropping his health with a flash grenade & no other weapons equipped.

 

 

 

I followed the instructions from the wiki.

 

 

There was no residual effect from the flash grenades, unless you count his lowered health. The grenade timed out before stalemating. I defeated him on the 3rd attempt.

 

Is this a bug or did I do something wrong?

The wiki is stuck in dark mode. I couldn't locate a toggle for the wiki specifically, and it doesn't respond to the current dark mode toggle being unchecked.

Contrary to what is written on the wiki (>> "Objective: Inflict approx. 17k - 45k damage using Duke's bat."), the damage needed for the Contract "Batshit Crazy" was much lower for my case. Got lucky in a way, since based on the information I had and the damage i could deal in only 3 days, there's likely no chance I could inflict between 17,000 and 45,000 points of damage. Yet still ended up taking the mission by.. recklessness, I guess? 😅

 

Thankfully I was only required to "Inflict a total of 287 damage using Duke's bat (0 / 287)."

Edit: From what Duke is saying, the math check out for me: it's half of my maximum life. (575 / 2 = 287.5)

Can't see use of anything else but kick & fist in the attacks, and there shouldn't be residual effect from the flash grenade. 

You say "no other weapons equipped" in your original post, no mention of unequipping armor though, which you need to do for this mission.

It might be useful to see when you failed the mission; https://www.torn.com/page.php?sid=log&log=7800 shows a list of when missions started; https://www.torn.com/page.php?sid=log&log=7810 shows list of mission files, clicking gives 'copy log, which allows you to find timestamp e.g "14:24:46 - 12/05/26 You failed the Duke contract 'Undercutters' (Expert)"

 

If you are sure you unequipped both weapons and armor when doing this mission, I would do a bug&issues report, that may answer why this mission failed. I don't think it's possible to say the Wiki is wrong without this info

War Mode could be explained better in the articles about Factions and Ranked War. It is mentioned indirectly in this article: https://wiki.torn.com/wiki/Faction#Upgrades_Panel but the term 'War Mode' should probably be added to https://wiki.torn.com/wiki/Faction#Special_Branches with a short explanation. It might be a good idea to also include it under https://wiki.torn.com/wiki/Ranked_War#The_War as a separate paragraph titled 'Preparation'. For both new factions leaders and new recruits this will help understanding what happens when entering a ranked war.

On the wiki for stick of dynamite it incorrectly states it can be sold for 35,000 but it's no longer able to be sold to the city.
