Every single woman I have spoken to properly, gotten to know through work or socially or study.... Every one of them has had incidents of unwanted sexual harassment or assault by men at some point in their lives. 

Usually from very young ages and usually from grown men who should know better. 

You have a daughter ? They will get random strangers flash their genitals at them, follow them, grab them, and much much worse.

Girls, even from a young age, frequently navigate their worlds with a mental map of where they might need to run to in the event of being followed, stalked or attacked.

The reality of sexual assaults is fucking horrific.
