As a lady I’ve dealt with this several times on here. After trying to report it twice they didn’t do shit. So I gave up. Was really contemplating quitting the game cause of it at some point. 

So you made your thread, got reasonable replies from staff explaining how it is and you just ignored their replies and continues on your damn crusade?

No one is upset about you speaking up, they are just sick about the way you go on about this.

You said in Fedded Archives that Greta Thunberg is your big idol. Do you know that in reality she is harming whatever cause she is into at any given time and everyone is sick of her?

If everyone on the forum agrees that sexual violence threats are terrible and are not a joke, then I really don't understand why is it a problem to introduce a ban instead of a warning for any threats of sexual violence.

It doesn't matter who meant what and how offended / not offended the person on the receiving end was. 

And I don't think the gaming community will lose anything when a person who believes sexual violence is funny and not a big deal stops playing this game.

Well this is not simply a case of threats of sexual assault but also misogyny, since dudes generally don't go around threatening to sexually assault other dudes. 

Granted, girls in torn are guys in real life so shit now starts to get really confusing. 

Were they seriously considering to sexual assault another dude playing as a female character on a textbased browserbased 10000 years old MMORPG or simply being obnoxious? Would they have done the same if the dude was playing a ♂ character instead?

I think the answer to your question is that it depends on the context. Some people absolutely would try to doxx you, stalk you, and hurt you IRL. The vast majority of the time, the answer is probably an obvious "no", but with as many players and for as long as Torn has existed I would bet IRL money that at least one person in Torn history has done some real IRL aggression against another player.
