You need to be in a 3 star AN, to get EDVDs, you're in a 1 star.
But to answer, you'll use them to do what is called a Happy Jump, where you stack your energy to 1k using Xanax, then once your drug cooldown is up, use 5 DVDs and an ecstasy to boost your gym gains
It depends on your game goals, however cash is tight to start with so selling edvd and adding that cash to your bank account for two weeks at a time builds passive income. Getting to 2B in your bank is a really good early game goal. Personally I hated doing happy jumps and so I was really happy when I switched to training with three xanax and a points refill each day.
Sell them and do console jumps. The networth increase is more important. Get your high ROI investments going ASAP.
