Forgiven Merit

Below are my pray logs. I want to talk about this merit. At first I thought the merit was to pray 14 days consecutively. Which I did. Then I didn't get the achievement and asked ChatGPT about it at the exact 14th day after I prayed and did not get the merit. It told me the prays have to be within 24 hours so 01/01 at 1 AM and 01/02 at 11 PM doesn't work (so 46 hrs but within the same calendar day). Which then I thought I've already lost the streak couple days ago because it has been more than 24 hours which is given below. Then I kept praying all within the same day just not to lose the streak. Now, I know people recommend praying per 12 hrs both day and to not miss any, but at this point I was not taking any chances and started praying rapidly. Didn't care much of the loss of energy as I thought I have already lost too much back then. But suddenly with the last pray on "17:20:59 - 12/07/26" I got the merit. And I definitely do not understand how this merit works right now.

You prayed every day between June 25th and Today. 

Forget about the time stamps and look at the dates. You never missed a specific date. That's all the merit is based on. 

We don't know if it's 14 days, you just assumed it was.

You did everything correctly, and you got it :)

I think I got mine at around 18 days

There was a bug report (I haven't gone searching for it) that said it isn't purely based on sequential days of praying, and there was an additional trigger which players hadn't worked out so far... but eventually we must all be doing whatever it is :)

It's been widely acknowledged that nobody really knows how the merit works. And like a lot of things, chedburn won't tell us how it exactly works.

It's been pretty much accepted that it's every day between 00:00 and 23:59. How many days seems to randomize and not be consistent so the tried and proven way however is to pray twice a day, morning and night, until you get the merit. That way you can be sure you don't miss a day by forgetting a single pray.
