Weapon Inspection Relay Extension

Share weapons and armor through Torn chat as interactive item links. Recipients can click the item name and inspect its stats, bonuses, quality and other properties without leaving the conversation.

How Apocalypse WIRE Works

1. Open Click or tap a unique weapon or armor item on your Items page. Apocalypse WIRE reads the details panel Torn has already opened.
2. Copy The item is cached locally and its Wirelink is copied to your clipboard. Desktop users can also Shift-click a cached item to place it directly into an open chat box.
3. Inspect Paste the Wirelink into ordinary Torn chat. Other Apocalypse WIRE users see a clickable, rarity-colored item chip and can inspect the complete item card.

Item chips and tooltip borders reflect the equipment tier, making yellow, orange and red gear immediately recognizable in a busy chat.

What You Need

Both the sender and recipient need Apocalypse WIRE installed to see the interactive item card. Players without the script will see the encoded Wirelink as ordinary text.

Apocalypse WIRE requires no API key, account, external server or paid service. Item information is read from the Torn page you actively open, encoded into the message, and reconstructed locally by the receiving script. Messages in trade chat have a limit of 125 characters, meaning only one Wirelink per message (e.g. WTS [Wirelink] 1b. Set trade!). 

Early release: Apocalypse WIRE is under active development. It is currently focused on unique equipment from the Items page. Torn interface changes or unusual item layouts may occasionally require an update. Please post screenshots, the affected item type, and your platform when reporting a problem.
