Call me dumb all you want, but i dont know ANYTHING ABOUT IT, so if someone could explain how payouts work that could be great

Obs: i am banker of my faction so i do have access to the payouts of OC'S.

so you can choose to either give the money to the players or have their balance in the vault be updated to reflect the money, or you can give them a random split of the items (if less than number of players it will give randomly and some can end up with nothing) or you can up their balance with the value of the items split between them, you can also modify how much of the OC payouts the faction keeps by changing the percentage they are getting paid out, for a 3 man OC for example you could set it to 90% each player would then get 30% cut each of the proceeds and the remaining 10% would be kept by the faction vault unassigned to anyone balance.

As soon as the OC completes (which is automatic when the timer ends and all members are available) if it is a success then whatever rewards that OC gave go straight into your faction armory. If it gives items and you don't have the right armory unlocked for that, then that item is "locked" in your faction armory until you do unlock it.

The payout button is just an easy "give all members a certain percentage of either the money received, or the market value of the items which were received". It is the equivalent of you manually doing an equal "add to member balance" of the reward value (minus faction cut) for all members who took part in the OC. Everyone gets the same equal reward.

There is a third option for OCs which give items, which is to payout a percentage of the items themselves - which randomly gives items to the players (or factions) based on the percentage you decide to give out - this option does NOT give players an equal share of the rewards as far as values are concerned, and if the OC just gave you a single reward (such as a car) then ONE random person (or the faction if it landed on the faction percentage) gets the item and everyone else gets nothing. Most factions ignore this option for obvious reasons...

No matter which option you choose, those items or funds are removed from the faction vault or armoury at the point you click "payout", just like all the items or money were added at the point the OC was a success. This is why you will see players complaining that their faction is "losing money" when they click payout, because they look at the faction balance before and after and the unallocated balance goes down - forgetting that it went up earlier.

Whoever gets the "job" of sorting out the item rewards would manually withdraw those items from the armory, sell them, deposit the funds from those sales back into the faction vault, and reduce their personal balance by that same amount (because when they deposit it, the money would be credited to their personal balance just as if they deposited their own cash)
