If you are doing your best to not let your energy bar sit at full...then you should start getting them as soon as it's sustainable. The extra energy per day can be huge for gains.
Tbh I've always just subscribed for the free swag though
If you're playing Torn actively you should absolutely get donator/subscriber status, doesn't matter what level you are. For only 800k a day you're getting an insane amount of value.
