I’m confident that it’s over a 5% base chance. I feel that this is one of the under researched aspects of Torn, but not entirely surprising given that LSD is mainly used for the merit, a small subset of new players, and those like myself who chose the pain & misery (SSL) gym route.

My LSD OD rate was 7.11% (16 ODs out of 225) in 2025, with little to no faction OD chance reduction perks. 
With the 30% reduction for most of this year, my 2026 my LSD OD rate dropped to 5.31% (23 ODs out of 433).
