What is the point of creating suggestions?

I just want to say something don't know what to say

I'm not even worried about the reasonable time frame for the responses, but rather the quality of them. When I had made a suggestion thread which had two central bulletpoints listed immediately after a brief introductory sentence, and it got 300+ upvotes organically in a matter of days (I'm fairly certain it had only taken two), I felt that the response I received addressed neither one of the two central points that the community had so clearly been in favor of. It felt to me rather as if bogie hadn't read my thread at all, but had instead assumed what its content was and responded to that imagined version of it. The steps taken in the wake of his reply were, at best, tangentially related, surface-level (non)solutions, unnecessarily fumbled into a nearly useless and frankly unfair bread and circus routine to satisfy the idiot masses (who cheered that there was blood for the blood gods, despite the overwhelming majority of the perpetrators of this issue, including many of its absolute worst offenders, remaining completely and inexplicably unscathed). This naturally left the core problem completely unresolved, only for it to continue to fester up until now, despite decisive action having been desperately needed on it years ago even at the time of that thread. I love this game profoundly, and it's completely heartbreaking to have every illusion of fairness in Torn dashed against the rocks. It's awful that there's no further recourse for us to take after jumping through all the hoops in that process, hoping desperately to be heard at last, only to receive feedback/commentary on an adjacent topic instead of the ideas presented.

I really like the hall of shame. I say we put staff on there first for ignoring these suggestions because that’s just shameful

You are simply wasting your time it's someone's baby and they aren't going to add new stuff. Good thing are plenty of clones with tons to do.

It's just a forum where topics and ideas go to die.

One of my half shitpost - half suggestions actually got implemented, and crime items in armory (in an altered form as I mainly just wanted sports sneakers to go in it).

The rest of my actually serious ones that I put effort into were declined.

I've stopped bothering with that section seeing the state of how long people have been bumping ones that have the 'required votes' (some with 3-4x) and are met with silence.
