I want to know more about Jail Busting and how it can benefit me .
I hope someone can answer it and I will grave the thread once I get answers.
I can answer some questions:
It doesn't cost CE when you get caught, you just don't gain any
The maximum number you can do is invisible, the more busts you do the more you will end up able to do. start off by busting low levels that have a jail time of under 2 hours. It takes 48 hours after a bust to fully regain your ability to bust people. Your busting ability gradually comes back in that 48 hour period, it's not instant at 48 hours later
Q. Does it greatly benefit my CE and Nerve bar , even more than doing crime 2.0 ?

No. When busting was overhauled, Chedburn wrote:

That was 11 years ago, well before Crimes 2.0 came out. Perhaps it may be even more true now.

Sorry for my dumb question. So then Why do we even bother busting instead of doing crimes ?

Pretty sure busting with 2-3 nerve busts (requires faction perks) was comparable to Arson in 1.0 for ce so not terrible but idk how it would compare on the new 2.0 ce scale.

Without elevating the chances of getting caught your max streak is 1.
Busting has it's own hidden XP, the more you do it the better it gets. But you're not going to get more than like 6 or 7 busts done a day without being in a law firm.
You do it because there are 10 merits associated with doing Busting. And at 6 a day, getting to 10,000 is going to take a very long time.
If you want to try out busting, I recommend a script like this one. It'll take some time to dial in your skill, but it should help give you a guide on who you can bust, and how many you can do.
Merits are the main thing, but people will also do it to just be better at busting others out. It's just another stat to max like hunting albeit an invisible stat
