SCENE I: The Neon Loop

Audio Track:

Kavinsky – Nightcall

Synthesizer rhythms from a cheap car stereo blended with the scorching summer heat. Nutzz ran a hand through his damp, greasy hair and glanced in the rearview mirror. He adjusted his tinted Aviator sunglasses, even though the sun had nearly dipped below the dark industrial horizon, leaving nothing but a bloody crimson streak across the sky.

He was 32. An age when most of his peers were planning family vacations, buying second homes in the suburbs, drinking cold beer, and arguing over the best lawnmower models. Nutzz's plans were slightly different: survive the next 24 hours.

Everything was suffocating him.

The Pawn Bank: A $120,000 mortgaged apartment, endless interest, and absurd legal bills.

Ryry "The Terror": A local loan shark whose two enforcers promised to show up tonight not to ask for money, but to "take a trigger-finger deposit."

Nutzz didn't have a single dollar. Instead, at the bottom of his worn duffel bag, he had something better: a one-way plane ticket to Torn City and an old .38 Revolver he had won in a poker game from a drunk three years ago.

"If I'm going to crash and burn, it might as well be in a city where nobody knows my name, nobody asks about my past, and where blood washes off the pavement faster than the rain." — he thought, slamming the car door shut near a dilapidated airfield hangar.

SCENE II: Welcome to Hell

Audio Track:

Carpenter Brut – Turbo Killer

Torn City welcomed him not with pink sunsets, but with the stench of sand, cheap cigarettes, burning rubber, and sea salt. 1984 Torn was boiling over. Neon signs flickered across the streets, heavy Kevlar vests bulged beneath leather jackets, and Big Al's Gun Shop advertisements covered every single corner.

Only one unwritten rule applied here: you either rule the street, or the street crushes you.

Nutzz checked into the cheapest motel on the West Side, where the ceiling fan did nothing but push hot, smoke-filled air around the room. For the first three days, he survived on cheap convenience store sandwiches, drank cheap whiskey, and simply observed the environment from his second-floor balcony.

He watched petty thugs trying to snatch women's purses, and watched them get dismantled in seconds by local Mafia soldiers—guys in expensive Italian suits and dark sunglasses, driving brand-new Chevy Corvettes. They didn't talk; they solved problems with gunfire.

Nutzz realized one thing: he hadn't come here to hide. He had come to take what his old life had denied him.

SCENE III: First Blood in the Dumpster Alleyway

Audio Track:

Perturbator – Future Club

On the fourth evening, Nutzz found himself behind The Red Dragon bar, a local haven for criminals. A petty dealer named Slick was looking for someone to do a dirty job for 500 dollars. He needed someone to intercept a messenger carrying a bag of Vicodin and medical opium from a rival gang.

"You're too old for this shit, kid," Slick spat, measuring Nutzz up and down. "This isn't your weight class. Go back to your bank job."

Nutzz didn't even blink. He stepped closer, pulled his cold .38 Revolver from his jacket pocket, pressed it directly against Slick's forehead, and spoke in a calm, icy voice:

"I have nothing left to lose, Slick. And a man with nothing to lose is the most dangerous creature in this damned city. Give me the address, or your brain decorates this wall."

An hour later, Nutzz was standing in a dark, damp alleyway near an industrial warehouse. Two unconscious messengers lay on the wet pavement, while Nutzz held a heavy bag of pills and another $2,000 in cash taken from their wallets. His hands shook slightly from the adrenaline, but in his chest, he felt something he hadn't felt in years: a spark of real life.

The doors of Torn City were beginning to open. And Nutzz was preparing to kick them wide open.

Neon & Lead | Episode 2: The Meat Grinder & The Veteran

Location: Torn City (North Side Industrial District)

Time: Summer, 1984

SCENE I: The Meat Grinder

Audio Track: Killing Joke – Eighties

The industrial district of North Side smelled like burnt copper, wet rust, and cheap gasoline at 2:00 AM. It was the kind of stench that settled deep into your lungs and stayed there for days. Nutzz moved through the shadows of an alleyway, his boots crunching on broken glass and discarded syringes.

He glanced down at his leather jacket. A dark, drying stain covered his right sleeve—not his blood, but close enough. The adrenaline from the alleyway robbery two hours ago had worn off, leaving behind a cold, hollow ache in his chest and a ringing sound in his ears. Torn City didn't sleep; in the distance, sirens wailed like dying animals, punctuated by the faint, rhythmic thrum of heavy machinery from the docks.

He stopped before a rusted, corrugated iron door at the end of a dead-end street. A flickering neon sign for a long-defunct meatpacking plant buzzed overhead, casting a sickly greenish glow over the cracked asphalt. Inside, the muffled hiss of a hydraulic press and the bright blue arc of a welding torch cut through the dark.

Nutzz adjusted his Aviators in his pocket and rested his right hand inside his jacket, fingers wrapping around the cold, textured grip of his .38 Revolver. He had $2,000 in stolen cash in his pocket, blood on his collar, and nowhere left to run.

He pushed the heavy metal door open. The metallic stench of grinding steel hit him instantly.

Under the chassis of a completely gutted '82 Chevrolet Camaro, suspended on shaky hydraulic jacks, a pair of grease-stained leather boots stuck out. The arc welder hissed to a sudden halt, plunging the workshop into a dim, amber haze supplied by a few swinging bulbs hanging from exposed rafters.

"Shop's closed, kid," a low, gravelly voice rasped from beneath the car. "Unless you're looking to buy a stripped engine block or get your fucking skull caved in, turn around and walk out."

"I was told you know how to make cars invisible to the cops, Vic," Nutzz said, his voice level, stepping further into the grime-covered garage. "And that you know how this fucking city actually operates."

SCENE II: The Price of Survival

Audio Track: W.A.S.P. – Wild Child

The creeper board rolled out from under the Camaro with a harsh scrape. "Old Man" Vic stood up, towering over the oil-stained floor. He was in his early fifties, his skin weathered like old boot leather, with grease permanently ground into the lines of his face and beneath his fingernails. A jagged, pale scar stretched from his left ear down to his collarbone—a violent souvenir from the faction wars that flattened Halfway X a decade ago.

Vic wiped his hands with an oily rag soaked in solvent, his cold grey eyes measuring Nutzz with the detachment of an executioner. He didn't see a hero. He didn't even see a gangster. He saw meat.

"I've seen a hundred cocky bastards like you step off the plane at the airfield," Vic sneered, tossing the rag onto a pile of scrap metal. "They all think they're special. They all think they've got a secret. Half of them end up with their throats slit in a motel bathtub within forty-eight hours. The other half end up at the bottom of the bay in concrete shoes. What makes you think you're worth my fucking time?"

"Because those guys came here to play gangster and spend quick cash," Nutzz replied softly. He stepped forward and tossed a blood-stained envelope onto the iron workbench between them. It landed with a heavy thud. "I came here because I burned my bridges behind me. I don't have a home to go back to, Vic. I have a debt collector named Ryry waiting to put a bullet in my head back home, and $120,000 in unpaid bank loans. I have nothing to lose. And that makes me dangerous."

Vic stared at the envelope. He leaned over, flipped it open with a greasy screwdriver, and inspected the stack of hundred-dollar bills inside.

"Blood on the paper," Vic observed, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Fresh."

"It's not mine," Nutzz said without flinching. "I need a garage that doesn't exist on police records, a vehicle that can take a beating and outrun a precinct cruiser, and a mentor who knows which syndicate toes I can step on without getting us both turned into dog food."

SCENE III: Blood and Iron

Audio Track: Boy Harsher – Pain

Vic stood silent for a long moment, the swinging lightbulb casting long, jagged shadows across his scarred face. Then, a slow, dark smirk cracked his lips—a terrifying expression that held zero warmth. He reached into his grease-stained overalls, pulled out a key, and unlocked a heavy iron gun safe bolted to the concrete wall.

He reached inside, pulled out two sweat-beaded bottles of cheap, dark beer, and slammed one down on the workbench next to the cash.

"Torn City isn't run by tough guys with big guns, kid," Vic spat, popping the cap off his bottle with the edge of the workbench. "Guns are cheap. Life is cheaper. This city is run by cold, calculating machines. The big syndicates—the ones running the hospitals, the docks, and the mayor's office—they don't fight in the streets like feral dogs. They butcher you quietly behind closed doors."

Nutzz grabbed the bottle, took a long swig, and felt the harsh, bitter liquid burn down his throat.

"I'm not looking to fight like a dog, Vic," Nutzz said, his eyes darkening. "I'm looking to take what they own. But I can't do it alone."

Vic leaned against the workbench, taking a deep sip of his drink. "You want to build a crew in this hellhole? You'll need more than a broken revolver and two grand. You need a driver who can drift through an alleyway at ninety miles an hour without shaking, a medic who won't ask why your guys have shotgun pellets in their gut, and someone who can rewrite bank records."

"We start with the driver," Nutzz said, his voice dropping an octave. "Where do I find him? I know a couple of guys who used to run drugs up north."

Vic chuckled, a dry, raspy sound that turned into a rough cough. He gestured toward a modified Dodge Charger sitting in the dark corner of the workshop, its engine exposed like an open chest cavity.

"Not him, kid. Her," Vic corrected, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "Underground street races down at the Docks. Her name's Roxy. She drives like she's trying to commit suicide, and she fucking hates everyone. If you survive five minutes in a car with her, maybe—just maybe—we have a story to tell.”

NEON & LEAD | Episode 3: Old Debts & New Contracts

Location: Torn City (Downtown Underground Lounge)

Time: Summer, 1985

SCENE I: No Plan

Audio Track: The Cure – A Forest

Downtown Torn City at 2:00 AM. Rain poured relentlessly, turning the streets into a blurred canvas of reflection. Inside a secluded, second-floor neon lounge overlooking the main strip, cigarette smoke hung thick beneath low pink and blue neon strip lights. The bass from a synthesizer echoed through the floorboards, mixing with the heavy clatter of rain against the tall, stained-glass windows.

Nutzz sat in the shadowy corner of a vinyl booth, his wet leather jacket draped over the back of the seat. He was slowly swirling cheap rye whiskey in a lowball glass, watching the neon reflections flicker in his Aviator sunglasses.

Across the table, Vic leaned forward, his scarred face illuminated by the dim embers of his cigarette. He took a long drag, lungs crackling, before exhaling a thick plume of gray smoke toward the ceiling.

"Alright, kid," Vic said, his voice a low, rough growl that barely carried over the music. "We’re out in the open now. The initial cash is drying up, debt collectors are circling the North Side, and we're running out of fuel. What’s your plan?"

Nutzz didn't answer right away. He took a slow, deliberate sip of his whiskey, the ice clinking softly against the glass. His expression was completely unreadable behind the dark lenses.

"I don't have one," Nutzz said coldly.

Vic stared at him through the haze of smoke. A beat of tense silence passed before Vic let out a dry, bitter laugh and shook his head, rubbing his tired eyes with grease-stained fingers.

"No plan. Outstanding," Vic muttered, shaking his head. "Just walking into the lion's mouth with a dark pair of shades and an attitude. Well, lucky for you, I still have a few old chips to burn in this godforsaken city before they bury me."

SCENE II: The Fixer's Debt

Audio Track: Boy Harsher – Pain

Vic stood up, his knee giving a faint cracking sound under his faded jeans, and signaled toward a shadowed booth deep in the VIP section of the lounge.

A woman stepped out into the cyan neon light. Her name was **Vesper**—a sharp, calculating fixer who dominated the West End's underground trade. She was in her late thirties, wearing a sharp 80s asymmetric platinum blonde cut, blood-red lipstick, and an oversized dark tailored blazer over a crisp silk shirt. Heavy gold chains and rings glittered under the neon as she held an unlit, long clove cigarette between her fingers. Two heavy-set guards in dark trench coats trailed a few paces behind her like silent shadows.

She walked over to their table with slow, deliberate steps, lighting her cigarette with a heavy silver Zippo that snapped shut with a sharp, metallic *clack*.

"Vic," Vesper said, her voice husky, cool, and dripping with controlled power. "I didn't think you still walked these streets. I thought the North Side swallowed you whole years ago."

"I try to stay out of the light," Vic replied, stepping up to her level. "But you and I have unfinished business, Vesper. You remember two years ago in the South District? The precinct raid on your transit warehouse? I pulled your team out of the fire when nobody else would touch the keys."

Vesper blew a thin plume of sweet, aromatic clove smoke toward the ceiling lights. Her eyes narrowed slightly, taking in the old veteran's worn face, followed by a subtle, respectful nod.

"I remember," Vesper said softly, her tone shifting from distant to sharp. "I don't forget debts, Vic. Especially not ones written in precinct blood. What do you need?"

"We need a real score," Vic said, gesturing toward Nutzz sitting calmly in the booth. "And you owe me a clean entry."

SCENE III: The Offer & The Terms

Audio Track: Depeche Mode – Never Let Me Down Again

Vesper turned her cold blue eyes onto Nutzz, taking in his leather jacket, motionless stance, and the cold detachment dripping from his demeanor. A slow, calculating smile appeared on her dark-painted lips.

"So this is the new muscle," Vesper said, pulling up a leather chair and crossing her legs. She leaned forward, resting her elbows on the sticky table. "Alright, Vic. Debt paid. I actually have just the job for two men with nothing left to lose."

She tapped her gold ring against her glass, drawing a mental map in the air.

"A high-grade medical supply warehouse down at the Docks. It's heavily guarded by a rival syndicate branch—full of high-value surgical gear, pure pharmaceuticals, and black-market morphine. Millions in raw street value if it's moved right."

She looked between Vic's weathered face and Nutzz's dark lenses.

"My usual crews are either too soft, too greedy, or too loud for a run like this. I have the access codes, the insider clearance, and the fence lined up to swallow the cargo whole. You two handle the ground work: clear the security, lock down the floor, and secure the crates. I delay the precinct dispatches, kill the silent alarms, and clear the route out."

"What's the cut?" Nutzz asked directly, his voice cutting through the lounge bass for the first time.

Vesper raised an eyebrow, amused by his bluntness.

"Seventy-thirty in your favor," Vesper answered without a second thought. "Seventy for you two to split down the middle, thirty for me for logistics and keeping your faces off the syndicate's local hit lists. And because of Vic..." She paused, taking another drag of her cigarette. "...I'll even line up the best getaway driver in the district to make sure you actually live long enough to spend it."

Vic looked down at Nutzz. Nutzz didn't flinch. He gave a brief, decisive nod.

"Deal," Nutzz said.

Vesper stood up, smoothing down her tailored blazer, her gold chains catching the neon.

"Meet me tomorrow night near the Docks race circuit," Vesper said, turning back toward the shadows. "I'll have the crew chief and your driver waiting. Don't be late."

NEON & LEAD

S1E4: ASPHALT & ADRENALINE

Location: Torn City (Docks Race Circuit)

Time: Summer, 1985. Night.

SCENE I: The Smell of Rubber and Salt

Audio Track: Perturbator – She Moves Like a Knife

Cold summer rain in the Docks district of Torn City mixed with the pungent stench of burnt rubber, cheap gasoline, and ocean salt spray. The roar of supercharged engines shook the damp night air, while red and blue traffic lights flickered in rain-slicked puddles like spilled paint on wet asphalt.

Standing by the rust-eaten wire-mesh fences were Nutzz and Old Man Vic. Nutzz, wearing a black leather jacket and dark Aviator sunglasses, observed the track with a cold, unmoving gaze. Beside him, Vic pulled a long drag from his cigarette, the amber neon light highlighting the jagged scar running from his left ear down to his collarbone.

On the circuit, a black modified Dodge Charger drifted sideways through a corner at 90 miles per hour, throwing sparks off the concrete barrier. The muscle car screeched to a halt barely an inch from the fence, billowing thick, blue dabs of tire smoke. Roxy stepped out of the vehicle.

Wearing a dirty, oil-stained leather vest over bare skin and ripped denim jeans. Her short, rebelliously cropped dark hair was damp with sweat and rain, and a fresh streak of black motor oil was smeared across her cheek. Her eyes were wild, aggressive, and burning with fire—as if every movement she made was a direct challenge to the fear of death.

Roxy spat hard onto the wet asphalt and swept a razor-sharp glare across the gathered crowd of spectators.

Vic: (muttering through his teeth) "She drives like she’s looking for a meat grinder to throw herself into. But if you survive five minutes in her passenger seat... maybe we’ve got a shot."

Nutzz: "We don't need a saint, Vic. We need someone who isn't afraid to die in a hairpin turn."

SCENE II: Muscles & Cold Steel

Audio Track: Lazerhawk – Overdrive

Roxy marched toward the organizer's booth to claim her prize money. However, a massive, closet-built bouncer—a local Docks enforcer clutching a heavy rubber-coated club—stepped up to block her path, as well as Nutzz and Vic as they approached.

Bouncer: (smelling outsiders, puffing out his massive chest at Nutzz) "Hold it, Shades. This isn't your turf. Get lost before I tear your teeth out."

Nutzz didn't flinch or even slow his stride. A split second of dead silence hung in the air. The bouncer barely had time to raise his club before Nutzz struck without a word or a second thought: with a swift, trained motion, Nutzz blocked the enforcer's elbow with his left forearm and drove a hard, closed fist straight into his throat.

The bouncer gagged for air, and Nutzz, without missing a beat, grabbed him by the back of the neck and slammed his face full force onto the hood of a nearby car. Metal crumpled, blood splattered, and glass shattered. As the brute staggered, Nutzz delivered a cold kick right under his knee, snapping the joint and sending his heavy frame crashing onto the puddle-soaked asphalt.

Nutzz calmly stood up straight, pulled a white handkerchief from his jacket pocket, wiped the blood off his knuckles, and dropped it onto the unconscious bouncer's face.

Vic: (dark smirk spreading across his face, taking a drag) "Always nice to see a clean manicure, kid."

Roxy: (watching from her Charger, raising an eyebrow) "Not bad, Shades. But my bouncers are cheap. What the hell do you want?"

SCENE III: High Stakes & Piston Heat

Audio Track: Perturbator – Assault

Nutzz stepped up to the scorching hood of the Charger and slammed down a copy of Vesper's prepared contract alongside a thick stack of cash right onto the hot metal.

Nutzz: "You need more than speed, Roxy. You need real money. Ten percent off a million-dollar syndicate raid. That's a hundred grand in cold, hard cash on the table."

Roxy: (unfolding the papers, glaring fiercely at Nutzz) "Ten percent? Are you fucking insane? I’m risking my ride and my ass against syndicate automatic weapons for a tenth? Go to hell with your promises. In this hole, I run my own shit."

Vic: (stepping forward, exhaling smoke) "Your 'running shit' is gonna end with the syndicate burying you under this asphalt for free by the weekend. With us, you get a hundred grand and a one-way ticket out of this shithole city."

Roxy: (grinning fiercely, shoving the papers inside her vest) "Want to see what I can do? Get in, old men. If you puke in my interior, I'm shooting you on the spot."

SCENE IV: The Test Drive

Audio Track: Dance With the Dead – Neon Rebel

Nutzz and Vic got into the car. Roxy slammed the pedal to the floorboards. The Dodge Charger's V8 roared to life, and the vehicle tore through the dark streets of the Docks, drifting sideways past abandoned warehouses and tight alleyways.

Vic held firmly onto the grab handle, while Nutzz watched the precision of Roxy's movements through his dark lenses—despite her aggression and suicidal edge, she maintained absolute, flawless control over the vehicle. Roxy violently pulled the handbrake, spinning the car 180 degrees in a narrow dead-end alley and bringing it to a complete stop barely an inch away from a solid concrete wall.

SCENE V: The Contract Sealed

Audio Track: Carpenter Brut – Anarchy Road

Silence hung in the cabin for a few seconds, broken only by the deep, throaty rumble of the idling V8 engine. Roxy turned around toward the back seat, scanning both men's reactions. Nutzz didn't even flinch, merely adjusting his sunglasses where the neon glinted off the lenses.

Nutzz: "We'll need you at the exfiltration point. Stand-by mode and be ready to floor it when you get the signal."

Roxy: "Ten percent, and half of my share in cash as an advance right now. If I spot a single cop or syndicate tail before the raid—you're walking."

Vic: "Agreed. But remember, Roxy—once we hit that vault, there’s no turning back."

Roxy spat hard out of the open window onto the wet asphalt, threw the car into gear, and kicked up a thick cloud of smoke.

NEON & LEAD | Season 1, Episode 5: "Shadow Medicine"

Location: Torn City (Red-Light District / Underground Cellar Clinic)

Time: Summer, 1985 — 3:15 AM

SCENE I: The Smell of Antiseptic & Stale Blood

Audio Track: The Sisters of Mercy – Lucretia My Reflection

The alleyways of Torn City’s Red-Light District hummed with buzzing, short-circuiting neon signs casting harsh crimson and turquoise glare through the fog. Rain fell in thick, greasy streaks, washing dried filth into clogged storm drains. Down a set of concrete steps in a dead-end alley, behind a reinforced steel door with a sliding peep-slot, sat Dr. Marcus Vance’s illegal cellar clinic.

Inside, the air was suffocating—a pungent stench of rubbing alcohol, stale copper blood, and heavy cigarette smoke. A flickering overhead halogen bulb buzzed like an angry hornet. "Doc" Vance stood over a makeshift metal operating table, his rubber gloves soaked in dark fluid, sewing up a wounded mob enforcer while holding a half-lit cigarette between his teeth.

The heavy door slammed open with a metallic crash. Nutzz and Vic stepped into the clinic, water dripping from their leather jackets onto the stained tile floor.

Doc: (Without looking up, shoving a curved suture needle through flesh) "Door’s locked for a fucking reason. Get the hell out unless you’re dying, bleeding out, or bringing me a bag of hundred-dollar bills."

Vic: (Stepping into the light, lowering his wet collar) "Still stitching up street trash for pocket change, Vance? I see losing your chief surgical license didn't raise your standards."

Doc: (Pauses, wiping sweat from his brow with his bloodied shoulder, eyes narrowing) "Vic? Jesus Christ... I thought the syndicate threw your old ass into the harbor two years ago. And who’s the slick bastard in the Aviators standing in my doorway like a fucking phantom?"

Nutzz: (Stepping forward, hand resting lightly near his jacket pocket) "The guy offering you a real score, Doc. Assuming your hands aren't shaking too hard from withdrawal."

Audio Track: Front 242 – Headhunter

Doc sneered, stripped off his bloodied latex gloves with a sharp snap, and tossed them into a rust-covered trash bucket. He walked over to a metal cabinet, unlocked a small iron lockbox, and pulled out a glass syringe filled with a clear, synthetic combat stimulant. His hands were trembling noticeably until he pressed the vial into his forearm, depressing the plunger. Within seconds, his pupils dilated, his posture straightened, and his frame froze with unnatural, mechanical stability.

Doc: (Exhaling a long, sharp breath as the drug hits his nervous system) "Fuck off with the judgment, kid. You don't know shit about what it takes to keep pigs alive when their guts are spilling onto wet concrete. You want surgeon-level precision under fire? This is the fuel that buys it."

Vic: (Leaning against a metal IV stand, voice dropping low and stern) "We're building a team to crack the syndicate's central vault. High-tier military tech, armed guards, zero margin for error. We need a trauma medic who can patch shotguns blasts in four seconds flat without dropping a scalpel."

Doc: (Laughs bitterly, pouring himself a shot of cheap rye) "A vault run? Are you shit-heads out of your goddamn minds? The syndicate owns every precinct, every judge, and every hit-squad in Torn City. You hit their vault, and they won't just kill you—they'll skin you alive and dump what's left in the marsh."

Nutzz: "That's why we're taking their medical supply crate too. High-purity combat stimulants, raw pharmaceutical morphine, military-grade trauma kits. Millions on the black market. Enough to buy you your own clean lab—or enough juice to keep you buzzing for the rest of your life."

Doc: (Stares at Nutzz, his cold eyes gleaming behind thick wire-rimmed glasses) "Now you're talking my fucking language..."

SCENE III: Ambush in the Clinic

Audio Track: Carpenter Brut – Turbo Killer

Before Doc could finish his sentence, the heavy wooden door frame splintered violently. A burst of automatic gunfire shattered the overhead light fixture, plunging the room into chaotic shadows illuminated only by muzzle flashes and red emergency emergency lights. Two rival syndicate enforcers barged through the entrance, spraying 9mm rounds into the clinic walls, kicking over metal trays of surgical instruments.

Nutzz reacted in a fraction of a second, rolling behind a heavy iron examination table, pulling his .38 Revolver and firing two precise shots into the first gunner's chest. Vic ducked behind a metal supply rack, unholstering his piece and returning suppressive fire.

Doc didn't panic. Fueled by the synthetic stimulant in his veins, his movements were chillingly mechanical. As the second gunman charged forward, Doc grabbed a heavy stainless steel surgical tray and slammed it into the attacker's throat, staggering him, before driving a 10-inch amputation scalpel straight through the thug's Kevlar vest joint into his neck.

Doc: (Wiping blood splatters off his face, completely unbothered while the thug collapses) "Dammit! That son of a bitch bled all over my clean surgical towels!"

Vic: (Reloading his sidearm behind cover, catching his breath) "Told you... cold precision. The crazy bastard didn't even flinch."

Nutzz: (Stepping over the bodies, cylinder clicking shut) "Work under fire is solid. Now clean up your gear, Doc. We leave in two minutes."

SCENE IV: The Contract & The Dose

Audio Track: Gunship – Tech Noir

The alley was quiet again, save for the steady hiss of burst steam pipes and the rhythmic patter of cold rain on concrete. Two bodies lay motionless on the wet steps outside. Inside the wrecked clinic, Doc zipped up a heavy, oil-stained military canvas medical bag packed with scalpels, field tourniquets, and synthetic morphine vials.

Doc: (Slapping the bag onto the workbench, staring straight at Vic and Nutzz) "My terms are non-negotiable, gentlemen. Ten percent of the raw cash haul, plus full, exclusive access to every surgical and chemical crate we pull out of that vault. No questions asked."

Vic: (Flexing his freshly bandaged forearm where a grazing round had cut him) "Ten percent. But let's get one thing fucking straight, Marcus—if your habit, your shakes, or your high makes you hesitate for one second during the breach... I'll put a bullet through your skull myself."

Doc: (Adjusts his glasses with steady, cold hands, a dark smirk appearing on his face) "Fair enough, Vic. If I fuck up, you won't have to. Now let's get out of this sewer and go steal some fucking medicine."

NUTZZ88 [4103975]

NEON & LEAD | Season 1, Episode 6: "Paper Shadows"

Location: Torn City (Printer’s Alley / Cellar Document Workshop)

Time: Summer, 1985 — 1:45 AM

SCENE I: The Smell of Ink & Vinegar

Audio Track: Lebanon Hanover – Gallowdance

The oppressive summer heat of Torn City hung heavy over Printer’s Alley, thick with the stench of damp brick, rotting paper scraps, and stale exhaust fumes. Rain drizzled in a fine, greasy mist, reflecting the buzzing magenta neon sign of a long-abandoned print shop overhead. Down a set of slippery, moss-covered concrete steps, tucked away behind a rusted iron door secured with three separate deadbolts, sat Slick’s hidden paper workshop.

Inside, the atmosphere was suffocating—a pungent blend of industrial ink, acetic acid, chemical solvents, and stale tobacco smoke. The low ceiling was crisscrossed with exposed copper pipes that dripped condensation onto the stained concrete floor. Faint light poured from a single overhead yellow desk lamp, casting sharp, elongated shadows across racks of vintage Heidelberg printing plates, stacks of high-grade rag paper, vials of custom chemical dyes, and an ancient mechanical typewriter.

Behind a sprawling workbench littered with magnifying loupes, steel rulers, and razor-sharp scalpels sat Devika ("Slick"). She was a remarkably attractive Indian woman in her late 20s, but possessing an intensely nerdy, obsessive demeanor. She wore thick, wire-rimmed glasses, a black visor over dark hair tied pragmatically back, and a worn dark apron over a stain-covered work shirt. Her forearms were stained indelibly blue and black with ink. She was carefully dabbing a fine-tipped calligraphy brush into a vial of artificial aging acid, adjusting a counterfeit corporate vault clearance pass.

The heavy iron door rattled violently as three rhythmic thuds echoed through the cellar. Devika froze, her dark eyes widening in pure panic behind her thick lenses. She instantly grabbed a heavy iron paperweight with one trembling hand and hovered her other over an open beaker of acetone, ready to dissolve the forged documents in a heartbeat.

The peep-slot slid open. Vic’s cold, scarred eye appeared in the narrow frame.

Vic: (Voice low and muffled through the iron) "Put the goddamn acid down, Devika. It’s Vic. Open the bolts before the precinct patrol turns the corner."

Devika: (Exhaling a ragged, shaky breath, adjusting her glasses with ink-stained fingers) "What the actual fuck, Vic? You nearly made me spill two hundred bucks worth of synthetic gall ink! Hold your fucking horses, I’m sliding the deadbolts!"

The sound of three heavy brass deadbolts sliding back echoed through the cellar, and the door creaked open. Vic stepped into the workshop, his wet leather jacket glistening under the dim yellow light. Behind him followed Nutzz—a total stranger to Devika, standing tall in a black leather jacket and dark Aviator sunglasses, eyeing the workshop with cold, calculating intensity.

SCENE II: The Perfectionist’s Paranoia

Audio Track: Depeche Mode – Policy of Truth

Devika locked all three deadbolts behind them with frantic speed, her hands shaking visibly. She leaned her back against the solid iron door, catching her breath while glaring suspiciously at Vic and the newcomer.

Devika: "Are you out of your goddamn mind coming down my alley at two in the morning, Vic? And who the hell is this guy in the shades looking at my presses like he owns the joint?"

Vic: "Easy, Devika. This is Nutzz. He's new to Torn, but he handles our tech and logistics on the ground. Nobody followed us."

Devika: (Narrowing her eyes at Nutzz, crossing her arms defensively over her apron) "I don't give a shit if he's the Mayor's secret lover! The syndicate’s financial auditors have been sweeping every black-market press in the North Side for three weeks! If they catch me mixing these custom inks, they won't just put a bullet in my head, Vic—they’ll feed my fingers through an offset printing press millimeter by millimeter!"

Nutzz: (Stepping slowly toward the workbench, pulling off his Aviator sunglasses to inspect a counterfeit bearer bond under the yellow lamp) "Your security is tight, Devika. And your work... is fucking immaculate."

Devika: (Slapping his hand away from the paper with a sharp glare, adjusting her visor) "Keep your dirty mitts off the linen! It’s not just 'immaculate,' kid. It’s exact organic chemistry. Look at that watermark. That’s 100% linen-cotton rag paper imported from West Germany. The ink is a custom mix of iron gall and synthetic cobalt to match the syndicate’s 1984 ledger standards. You can put that under a microscope at the central vault, and their head auditor wouldn't spot the forgery in a hundred fucking years."

Vic: (Leaning against a heavy iron paper-cutter, pulling a cigarette from his pack) "We don't need a hundred years, Devika. We need thirty minutes inside the vault’s administrative floor. We need physical paper credentials that get us past the armed checkpoint without pulling a single trigger."

Devika: (Pacing nervously between her drying racks, her voice rising) "Physical paper credentials? You’re talking about breaching the central syndicate repository! That requires four separate physical authorizations: a chief auditor’s wax-sealed manifest, two biometric paper passcards, and matching bearer bond ledgers. One single imperfection—one misaligned serial number—and the silent alarm trips before your boots even touch the inner corridor!"

SCENE III: Paper Versus Powder

Audio Track: Front 242 – Masterhit

Nutzz pulled a heavy manila folder from inside his jacket and tossed it onto the workbench. It spilled open, revealing detailed structural schematics provided by Vesper, complete with vault guard schedules and physical ledger requirements.

Nutzz: "Vesper gave us the vault’s internal manifests. We have the guard rotation schedules, but the main vault door requires a physical paper keycard override backed up by forged bearer bonds to swap with the real payload. You make the papers, you rewrite the physical manifests, and we walk out with forty million in untraceable bonds."

Devika: (Staring at the schematics, running a gloved finger over the security stamps, her brow furrowed in deep concentration) "Forty million... Jesus Christ almighty. But who else is on this suicide squad, Vic? Tell me you didn't hire street thugs who shoot first and think never."

Vic: (Exhaling a long stream of gray smoke) "We’ve got Roxy on the wheel, Doc handling triage... and we're bringing in a heavy breacher with thermal lances to slice through the outer steel wall once you get us past the front desk."

Devika: (Slamming both hands onto the table, her face draining of color, her glasses sliding down her nose) "A thermal breacher? Are you out of your fucking mind? Thermal torches cut with three-thousand-degree oxygen lines! Do you have any idea what heat, dross, and smoke do to delicate paper stock? The soot, the sparks, the humidity—it will warp the paper, char the wax seals, and ruin every forged ledger I give you! Any brute-force bullshit will destroy my precision!"

Nutzz: (Leaning across the table, his voice dropping to an icy, commanding whisper) "Whoever handles the torch handles the outer steel vault. You handle the mind of the security apparatus. The fire won't touch your paper until you’ve already bypassed the locks. You give us thirty minutes of quiet access, and you walk away with ten percent of the raw haul."

SCENE IV: The Stamp of Fate

Audio Track: Boy Harsher – Motion

Devika stood frozen in the dim yellow light, looking between the blood-drenched reality of Vic’s combat presence, the intense calculating gaze of this newcomer Nutzz, and the perfection of her own forged documents lying on the desk. She let out a long sigh, reached out with steady fingers, grabbed a heavy brass corporate seal, and pressed it firmly into a thick block of dark red wax on the manifest. The crisp, flawless impression of the syndicate’s crest appeared in the hot wax.

Devika: (Staring at the completed seal, her breathing steadying as her nerdy composure returned) "Ten percent. And I want my share paid in bearer bonds and untraceable Swiss physical drafts—no filthy street cash. And one more thing, Vic..."

Vic: "Name it."

Devika: "Keep this new kid and whoever you hire for the torch work in check. If anyone sets off an alarm or burns my paper trails before we hit the vault interior... I’m walking out, and you can explain the missing manifests to the syndicate hit-squads yourselves."

Nutzz: (A subtle, cold smirk touching his lips as he steps back into the shadows and slides his Aviator sunglasses back on) "Fair deal, Devika. Pack your presses and your chemical kits. The paper key is set."

The episode closes with a wide cinematic shot as Nutzz and Vic step back out into the rain-slicked darkness of Printer’s Alley, leaving Devika in her cellar workshop, furiously cranking the handle of an ancient mechanical printing press—the crew’s paper credentials to forty million dollars officially forged.

NUTZZ88 [4103975]

NEON & LEAD | Season 1, Episode 7: "Fire and Steel"

Location: Torn City (Subterranean Pool Hall & Gambling Den / Scrap Yard Workshop)

Time: Summer, 1985 — 2:30 AM

SCENE I: The Rain of Sparks

Audio Track: W.A.S.P. – I Wanna Be Somebody

The heavy midnight rain pounded relentlessly against the corrugated iron roof of an abandoned scrap metal facility in Torn City’s industrial wasteland. Inside, the pitch-black warehouse hummed with a deafening, metallic screech. Blinding blue and white sparks rained down in cascades from the upper mezzanine, illuminating stacks of crushed car frames, rusted I-beams, and heavy machinery parts.

A massive, towering silhouette stood over a two-inch-thick steel vault plate mounted on reinforced iron sawhorses. It was Mikhail—known on the streets as "Iron" Hammer. Clad in a heavy, scorched leather welding apron, thick protective gauntlets, and a scratched dark welding visor, he operated a glowing thermal lance. The three-thousand-degree oxygen stream cut through the dense steel like a hot razor through wax, spewing molten white slag onto the concrete floor.

The iron side door rattled as Vic and Nutzz stepped into the workshop, rain pouring off their leather coats. Vic cupped his hands over his ears against the deafening roar of the thermal lance, while Nutzz stood unbothered, his dark Aviators reflecting the blinding shower of molten sparks.

  • Vic: (Shouting over the deafening hiss and metallic roar) "Shut it down, Mikhail! Save the oxygen before you burn down the whole goddamn block!"
  • Mikhail: (Knocking off his heavy welding helmet with a gloved forearm, revealing a scarred, bearded face and wild, cold blue eyes) "It doesn't shut down until the steel gives up, Vic! You know the rules in my yard!"
  • Nutzz: (Stepping into the circle of heat, inspecting the glowing, white-hot incision in the armor plate) "Clean cut. No hesitation. You're as loud as a bomb, but you get through."
  • Mikhail: (Glares down at Nutzz, wiping grease and sweat from his forehead with the back of his massive hand) "Who's the suit with the dark glasses? Another one of your paper-pusher friends, Vic? Tell him to step back before a spark melts his pretty jacket."

SCENE II: The Condition and the Debt

Audio Track: Perturbator – Future Club

Mikhail slammed the heavy torch handle onto an iron workbench, unstrapped his heavy apron, and grabbed a half-empty bottle of cheap vodka sitting beside a pile of copper wiring. He took a long, burning swig, letting the alcohol drip down his thick beard before slamming the bottle back down.

  • Vic: "This is Nutzz. He's running ground logistics for the syndicate vault run. We need your thermal lances to slice through sixteen inches of Krupp steel."
  • Mikhail: (Laughs bitterly, a deep, booming sound that echoes through the rafters) "A vault run? You think I'm jumping into a fire pit with a fresh crew just because you walked through my door, Vic? I don't give a damn about your plans unless my own house is clean first."
  • Nutzz: "Name your price, Hammer. Ten percent of the raw cash haul, plus you keep the industrial gear."
  • Mikhail: (Leaning over the workbench, his massive frame looming over Nutzz) "It’s not about the cut, kid. A local loan shark—a syndicate parasite named Vane—has been squeezing my yard for three months. He brought four armed muscle-heads last night, smashed my spare oxygen manifolds, and thinks he owns my shop until I pay double his extortion rate."
  • Vic: (Narrowing his eyes) "You want us to collect?"
  • Mikhail: "I want him broken. Vane runs his predatory loan operation out of a subterranean pool hall and illegal underground gambling den down in the South Side basement district. You two go down there, smash his crew, and break his knees until he hands over every debt ledger with my name on it. You bring me Vane's bloody ledger, and I’ll burn through hell itself for your vault run. If you don't... find another breacher."
  • Nutzz: (A subtle, cold smirk touching his lips as he adjusts his Aviators) "Consider Vane's debt settled, Mikhail. We'll handle your loan shark tonight."

SCENE III: Terms of Engagement

Audio Track: Sisters of Mercy – Dominion / Mother Russia

Mikhail stared into Nutzz's dark lenses for a long, suffocating moment. The heavy rain battered the tin roof above, filling the silence. Without taking his eyes off Nutzz, Mikhail grabbed a heavy ten-pound sledgehammer resting against the anvil, spun it casually with one arm, and brought it crashing down onto a rusted iron girder with a bone-rattling BANG. The metal groaned under the impact, but Nutzz didn't so much as blink.

  • Mikhail: (A slow, wild grin breaking through his messy beard) "You got cold blood, kid. I’ll give you that. Most people jump when the iron sings."
  • Nutzz: "Save the theater. We do your dirty work at the South Side pool hall tonight, and you stand ready with the torch rig tomorrow."
  • Mikhail: "Deal. But listen to me—Vane doesn't play clean. He keeps three heavy gunners in that cellar den. You bring enough lead to shut them down, or you won't live long enough to need my lances."
  • Vic: "We know how to handle street trash, Hammer. Just make sure your tanks are full when we bring you his ledgers."

SCENE IV: Forged in Fire

Audio Track: Quiet Riot – Metal Health (Bang Your Head)

Mikhail turned back to his workbench, hoisting two heavy pressurized green oxygen cylinders onto a transport dolly and strapping his thermal lance harness over his broad shoulders. The heavy steel tools clanked together in the dim yellow light of the workshop.

  • Mikhail: (Tightening a brass valve with a massive wrench, releasing a short hiss of compressed gas) "My gear stays packed. Get out of my yard, go hit Vane's den in the South Side basements, and bring me those goddamn papers."
  • Vic: (Lighting a fresh cigarette, the amber flame illuminating his scarred jaw) "Roxy's waiting outside in the Charger. Next stop is the pool hall."
  • Nutzz: (Pulling his collar up against the damp draft blowing through the side door) "Let's go break a loan shark."

The episode closes with a wide cinematic shot as Nutzz and Vic step back out into the pouring rain and neon-slick darkness of the industrial yards, heading toward Roxy's idling muscle car. Behind them, through the open corrugated doors of the workshop, Mikhail stands in shadows—the crew's heavy breacher secured, pending a violent debt collection at Vane's underground pool hall in the upcoming episode.

NUTZZ88 [4103975]

NEON & LEAD | Season 1, Episode 8: "Interest Due"

Location: Torn City (South Side Basement District — Subterranean Pool Hall & Gambling Den)

Time: Summer, 1985 — 3:15 AM

SCENE I: Down the Cellar Stairs

Audio Track: Motörhead – Ace of Spades

The 1969 Dodge Charger’s engine rumbled like low thunder in the rain-soaked alleyway of Torn City’s South Side basement district. Steam rose from the sewer grates, catching the flickering red neon sign of an unmarked steel door: "POCKET & CUE — PRIVATE CLUB."

Roxy kept the engine idling, her hands wrapped tight around the leather steering wheel. In the passenger and back seats, Vic checked the cylinder of his revolver with a heavy metallic click, while Nutzz adjusted his dark Aviators, uncaring of the dim alley light.

Vic: (Flicking a cigarette butt out into the puddle) "Vane’s got three heavy gunners down there, plus whatever muscle is running the tables. Keep it fast, keep it ugly."

Nutzz: (Pulling a heavy iron crowbar and a suppressed pistol from his trench coat) "Surgical, Vic. We aren't here to clean out the cash register. We get Mikhail's ledgers, break Vane’s knees, and leave."

Roxy: (Gazing into the rear-view mirror, dark eyes sharp) "I'm keeping the Charger running. If I hear shotgun blasts, you've got ninety seconds before I pull around the block."

Vic: (Racking his sidearm) "Ninety seconds is plenty."

SCENE II: Neon, Smoke, and Green Felt

Audio Track: Megadeth – Peace Sells

Vic kicked the heavy iron side door open, sending a startled bouncer tumbling down the damp concrete stairwell. They descended into a subterranean cavern thick with blue tobacco smoke, cheap bourbon fumes, and the clack of pool balls.

Fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, casting a harsh glare across felt pool tables, illegal poker setups, and coin-operated video cabinets. At the far end of the hall, behind a brass-railed booth, sat Vane—a slick, gold-chain-wearing syndicate loan shark counting stacks of marked bills alongside three hulking enforcers carrying sawed-off shotguns.

The entire hall went dead silent as Vic and Nutzz stepped onto the floor, rain still dripping from their black coats onto the stained carpet.

Vane: (Scoffs, tossing a stack of hundred-dollar bills onto the table) "Vic. I thought I smelled wet garbage walking down my stairs. Who's the suit with the shades? You brought a tax auditor to my club?"

Vic: "We’re here on behalf of 'Iron' Hammer. Word is you smashed his manifolds and put a fake debt on his scrap yard."

Vane: (Leaning back, a cold, greasy smile spreading across his face) "Mikhail owes fifty grand plus hundred-percent interest for operating on syndicate turf. That scrap yard belongs to me now. You two walked into the wrong cellar."

Nutzz: (Stepping forward slowly, his voice smooth as ice) "Mikhail doesn't owe you a cent, Vane. But your interest is due right now."

SCENE III: Surgical Violence

Audio Track: Carpenter Brut – Turbo Killer

Before Vane’s chief gunner could raise his double-barrel shotgun, Nutzz whipped the heavy iron crowbar across the man’s jaw with a sickening crack. The gunner crashed across a pool table, scattering billiard balls in every direction.

Vic pulled his revolver in one fluid motion, firing two rapid shots into the shoulder and leg of the second enforcer, dropping him instantly beside the jukebox. The third gunner lunged at Vic, but Nutzz caught him from behind, slamming his head face-first into a coin-op poker machine, shattering the screen in a cascade of electrical sparks.

In less than twelve seconds, the gambling den erupted into mass panic. Gamblers scrambled for the emergency exits, ducking under tables as cash and playing cards rained onto the floor. Vane scrambled backward in his booth, frantically reaching into his leather jacket for a snub-nosed .38.

Vic: (Stepping over a groaning enforcer and pressing the hot barrel of his revolver directly under Vane’s chin) "Don't even think about it, slick."

Vane: (Sweating profusely, trembling as he drops his gun onto the plush velvet booth) "Wait—wait! Take the cash on the table! Take the fifty grand!"

Nutzz: (Grabbing Vane by his silk collar and slamming him face-down onto the mahogany table) "Where are Mikhail's debt ledgers and the original loan papers?"

Vane: (Gasping for air) "In... in the floor safe under the desk! Key's around my neck!"

SCENE IV: Broken Bones and Full Payment

Audio Track: Iron Maiden – 2 Minutes to Midnight

Nutzz ripped the brass key from Vane's neck, unlocked the heavy steel safe behind the counter, and pulled out a leather-bound ledger along with several original promissory notes stamped with Mikhail's scrap yard seal.

Nutzz struck a match, set fire to the loan contracts right in front of Vane's terror-stricken eyes, and tossed the burning parchment into a brass ashcan. He then swept the stack of $50,000 in marked syndicate cash off the table and shoved it straight into his trench coat.

Before Vane could crawl away, Nutzz dragged him out of the booth by his lapels, pinned his leg flat against the mahogany frame, and swung the heavy iron crowbar down with brutal precision directly across Vane's kneecap. A sickening crunch echoed through the room, followed by Vane's blood-curdling scream.

Nutzz: (Coldly tossing the crowbar onto the blood-spattered felt table) "That's for Mikhail's manifolds. And the fifty grand is interest for our time."

Vic: (Leaning over the weeping, groaning loan shark, his voice low and unforgiving) "Mikhail's house is clean. If you or your goons step foot near his scrap metal yard again, we won't come to your pool hall—we'll put you inside one of his crushed cars."

Vane: (Clutching his shattered knee, sobbing hysterically) "He's clear! The debt is gone! Just get out!"

Nutzz: (Tucking the master ledger into his coat and checking his watch) "Eighty-two seconds. Perfect timing."

The episode closes with Vic and Nutzz walking casually up the wet cellar steps back out into the pouring rain. They slide into Roxy’s idling Charger, Nutzz tossing the bag of cash onto the back seat as the heavy V8 engine roars. The car peels out down the neon-slick alleyway, leaving the shattered gambling den behind.

Their heavy breacher is officially secured—and the crew has fifty grand in pocket money for tomorrow's syndicate vault heist.

NUTZZ88 [4103975]

NEON & LEAD | Season 1, Episode 9: "Shadows in the Circuit"

Location: Torn City (The Dark Zone — Underground Server Room / Abandoned Rail Yard)

Time: Summer, 1985 — 4:10 AM

SCENE I: The Cold Static

Audio Track: Metallica – Fade to Black

The air inside the subterranean generator room was freezing, wet, and choked with the smell of ozone and damp rust. Flickering fluorescent tubes buzzed overhead, casting a harsh cyan glare across heavy arrays of old green-screen computer terminals, thick magnetic tape reels spinning slowly, and bulky 1985 mainframe racks. Moisture dripped continuously from iron pipes onto the concrete floor.

Nutzz stood near a concrete pillar, his wet leather jacket catching blue neon reflections. His dark Aviators remained firmly on as he shifted his weight, completely out of his depth. He watched Devika ("Slick") frantically type commands into a clunky cathode-ray terminal, her fingers flying over mechanical keys. Vic stood near the iron entrance, holding his heavy revolver low at his hip. He stared at the glowing green text with pure suspicion, instinctively trusting a shotgun far more than a glowing CRT monitor.

Vic: (Spitting a piece of tobacco, his scarred jaw tight) "We’re running out of dark hours, Devika. Mikhail’s got the lances prepped at the garage, Doc’s loading trauma kits, and Roxy’s idling the Charger in the alley. Tell me those paper passcards and magnet tapes are clean."

Devika: (Adjusting her glasses with trembling, ink-stained fingers, her voice sharp and panicked) "Shut up for two seconds, Vic! Vesper’s magnetic strip data isn't matching the central ledger reel! This isn't just a physical lock—it’s a monitored system loop! Every time I query the paper manifest code, the mainframe tries to pulse a signal back to the West District office!"

Nutzz: (Stepping forward, crossing his arms, completely clueless about the screen) "Then just... turn off the machine's brain or bypass the tape. Make the codes green. We don't have time for a science lesson."

Devika: (Slamming her palms onto the terminal desk, glaring up at Nutzz) "You can't just 'turn off the brain,' you fucking idiot! This is an IBM mainframe running magnetic tape arrays! Look at these terminal logs! This passcard protocol didn't come from a stolen leak... it was issued directly by the Syndicate’s Chief Auditor six hours ago!"

SCENE II: The Whispering Line

Audio Track: Bauhaus – Dark Entries

A heavy silence settled over the cellar, broken only by the loud clatter of spinning magnetic tape spools and the steady drip of condensation. Vic took two slow steps toward the desk, squinting blindly at the glowing green CRT monitor as if trying to read a foreign language.

Vic: "Explain that in plain English, Devika. I don't read green dots."

Devika: (Pointing a gloved finger at a line of code on the green screen) "The entry codes on these magnetic strips aren't stolen. They were generated from inside the syndicate’s private terminal at the West Side club—Vesper’s home turf. She didn't crack their security... she's handing us a pre-opened door."

Nutzz: (Slowly adjusting his sunglasses, his tone dropping into an icy growl) "A pre-opened door means an ambush at the inner vault threshold."

Vic: (Letting out a low, bitter laugh, resting his hand on his holster) "I knew that blonde snake wasn't playing on our side of the fence. She’s using us as a hammer to open the steel, and once Mikhail burns the door, her syndicate enforcers flush us out and keep the cash."

Nutzz: "Or she’s playing both sides, waiting to see who bleeds out first."

SCENE III: A Signal in the Dark

Audio Track: Slayer – Raining Blood

Before Vic could reply, the heavy walkie-talkie mounted on Nutzz’s belt crackled with sharp static. Roxy’s tense voice broke through the speaker over the heavy roar of her idling Dodge Charger engine in the alley above.

Roxy: (VHF Static) "Nutzz! Vic! You’ve got two unmarked sedan cruisers turning off the main avenue into Printer’s Alley. No sirens, lights off. They’re moving in a tactical sweep!"

Vic: (Instantly drawing his heavy revolver, thumb pulling back the hammer with a sharp click) "Syndicate enforcers. Vesper traded our location before the ink even dried."

Nutzz: (Grabbing Devika by the shoulder, pulling her away from the desk) "Devika, grab your forged paper, the wax seals, and the magnet cards. Leave the metal boxes!"

Devika: (Frantically grabbing her leather satchel, stuffing the freshly stamped paper documents inside) "If I don't erase the local tape reels, they’ll trace our paper serial numbers! We lose our window for the central vault!"

Nutzz: (Pulling a small thermite charge from his coat, slapping it directly onto the top of the cathode-ray terminal, and pulling the pin) "I don't know how computers work, Devika, but I know heat burns everything. We’re changing the plan. If Vesper wants to play a double game, we’re going to pay her a visit in person."

SCENE IV: Into the Flood

Audio Track: Run-D.M.C. – It's Like That

The thermite charge ignited with a blinding, white-hot flash, burning straight through the terminal's plastic casing, melting the magnetic tape reels, and destroying the circuit boards in a pool of glowing slag. Thick black smoke filled the cellar as Nutzz, Vic, and Devika sprinted up the slippery concrete stairs into the pouring rain.

The iron hatch slammed open, and they burst out into the alley just as Roxy's black Dodge Charger skidded sideways through the mud, its V8 engine roaring like a wounded predator. The rear passenger door swung wide.

Roxy: (Yelling over the deafening engine rumble and rain) "Get the fuck in! They’re closing off the block!"

Vic: (Diving into the front passenger seat, turning toward the back window with his sidearm ready) "Hit the gas, Roxy! Back to the garage!"

Nutzz: (Pushing Devika into the rear seat before sliding in beside her, pulling his pistol) "Not the garage, Roxy. Drive to Vesper’s club in the West District. It's time to collect our intel in person."

Roxy: (Gleefully slamming her foot onto the throttle, spinning the rear tires in a cloud of blue smoke and water) "Now you're talking my language!"

The Charger shot out of the alley, its bright red taillights carving twin streaks through the rain-soaked darkness of Torn City, heading straight toward a reckoning with their handler.

NUTZZ88 [4103975]

NEON & LEAD | Season 1, Episode 10 (Finale): "Blood, Lead & Neon"

Location: Torn City (West Side Vesper's Lounge / Syndicate Vault / Dock Hanger)

Time: Summer, 1985 — 2:15 AM to 5:30 AM

SCENE I: The Confrontation at Vesper’s Lounge

Audio Track: Perturbator – Future Club

Rain poured in heavy, grey sheets over the West Side district, turning the neon sign of Vesper’s private lounge into a blurred smear of crimson and violet.

The heavy oak front doors exploded inward as Vic kicked them off their hinges. Nutzz stepped through the smoke first, leather jacket glistening wet, dark Aviators hiding his eyes, his suppressed pistol held ready at his side. Doc and Mikhail ("Iron" Hammer) flanked the entrance with short-barreled shotguns, while Devika ("Slick") stayed close behind, clutching her leather satchel of magnetic cards and forged manifests.

Vesper sat at a red velvet booth near the back, wearing her blue silk coat, her platinum hair sharp under the dim blue spotlights. Beside her stood four syndicate enforcers with automatic submachine guns.

Vesper: (Taking a slow drag from a long cigarette, her voice icy and composed) "You're late, Vic. And you brought half a war zone into my carpeted lounge."

Vic: (Raising his revolver, locking eyes with her) "You sold the magnetic strip codes to the Syndicate Auditor six hours ago, Vesper. You built us a trap door."

Vesper: (Blowing a thin plume of smoke, a calculating smile touching her lips) "I built a filter. If you weren't smart enough to trace the signal, you were going to die in the alley anyway. But since you're here—the target shifted. The Syndicate isn't keeping the payload in the central bank. They moved every crate of high-value pharmaceuticals, pure morphine, and black-market surgical supplies to the subterranean vault beneath the compound."

Nutzz: (Stepping forward, stepping directly into Vesper's space) "We aren't playing your double-agent game anymore, Vesper. You walk us through the security line personally, or Doc tests his new scalpels on your throat."

Vesper: (Extinguishing her cigarette in a glass tray, standing up calmly) "Seventy-thirty. And I lead the way."

SCENE II: The Breach & The Firefight

Audio Track: Carpenter Brut – Turbo Killer

The underground subterranean vault corridor beneath the Syndicate compound was suffocatingly hot, heavy with the smell of ozone and burnt iron.

Mikhail lowered his heavy thermal lance with a guttering hiss. The inner sixteen-inch reinforced steel vault door yielded with a deafening groan, collapsing inward onto the concrete floor in a cascade of white-hot sparks and molten slag. Inside stood row after row of heavy iron payload cases—millions of dollars worth of pure medical supplies, surgical grade morphine, and rare pharmaceuticals.

Before Doc could grab the first medical crate, high-frequency alarm sirens screamed to life, flooding the vault with blinding red strobe lights. Heavy steel blast doors slammed down, sealing off the main corridor.

Devika: (Panicking, slamming her palm against the terminal desk) "The secondary override tripped! Someone manually tripped an external kill-switch from the upper deck!"

Vic: (Turning his weapon toward the catwalks) "Syndicate ambush!"

Automatic weapon fire erupted from the upper iron catwalks. Heavy syndicate hitmen rained bullets down into the vault chamber. Ricochets sparked off the steel pillars as the crew took cover behind the glowing iron door.

Nutzz leaned out from cover, firing three precise shots that dropped a syndicate enforcer from the upper rail. But as another hitman leaned over with a heavy rifle, a muzzle flash cut through the smoke.

A high-caliber bullet tore through Nutzz’s upper chest.

Nutzz stumbled backward onto the concrete floor, blood quickly soaking through his leather jacket, his dark glasses flying across the room. Mikhail roared, picking up his heavy automatic rifle with one arm and spraying suppression fire across the upper catwalks to cut down the shooters.

Vic lunged across the fire line, grabbing Nutzz by his vest and pulling his bleeding body behind a steel payload crate.

Vic: (Shouting over the deafening gunfire) "Doc! Get your ass over here now!"

Doc: (Darting across the sparks, ripping open Nutzz’s jacket) "He’s got a collapsed lung! Grab the medical crates! Mikhail, blow the rear ventilation grate!"

Doc slammed a trauma dressing and a high-potency stimulant syringe directly into Nutzz’s shoulder. Nutzz gasped violently, his eyes snapping open as Doc clamped down on the arterial bleeding.

SCENE III: Red Asphalt Exfiltration

Audio Track: Megadeth – Peace Sells

Mikhail’s thermite charge blew the rear ventilation hatch outward into the torrential rain of the rear alleyway.

Vic and Mikhail half-carried Nutzz, who was pale and covered in blood, while Doc and Devika hauled four heavy cases of stolen medical supplies. At the end of the alley, Roxy executed a screaming 180-degree drift in her 1969 Dodge Charger, the V8 engine roaring like thunder as rain splashed off the wide tires.

Roxy: (Slamming open the rear door from the driver's seat) "Get the gear in! We’ve got three syndicate cruisers closing off the harbor block!"

Mikhail shoved the heavy medical crates into the trunk while Vic slid Nutzz onto the rear vinyl seat. Doc jumped in right beside him, keeping heavy pressure on Nutzz’s chest wound as bullets cracked against the Charger’s reinforced rear glass.

Roxy: (Smirking through the grease on her cheek, slamming the accelerator to the floor) "Hold onto your guts, boys!"

The Charger tore down Printer’s Alley, tires smoking against the wet asphalt. Roxy pulled the hydraulic handbrake at 80 mph, sliding the heavy muscle car sideways between two converging syndicate cruisers, forcing one to smash headfirst into a concrete barrier while the other spun out into the river canal.

SCENE IV: The Haul & The Horizon

Audio Track: Kavinsky – Nightcall

The storm had settled into a quiet, freezing drizzle by 5:00 AM over Torn City’s outer Docks.

Inside an abandoned boat hanger, the Charger sat with its engine steaming. The four heavy iron cases sat wide open on a wooden workbench under a single hanging bulb, revealing rows of high-grade pharmaceutical vials, black-market morphine, and surgical equipment.

Nutzz lay propped up against a stack of tires, pale and heavily bandaged around his chest, but conscious. Doc was finishing off a neat row of surgical stitches on his shoulder, while Devika sat nearby, carefully stamping forged paper logs to erase the physical trail of the stolen medical shipment.

Vic stood near the open hanger door, watching the fog roll over the Torn City skyline, holding two cold bottles of dark beer. He walked over and handed one to Nutzz.

Vic: (Taking a slow drink) "Doc says you'll live. But you won't be lifting heavy iron or shooting straight for a month."

Nutzz: (Taking a slow sip, his voice low and raspy, slipping his dark Aviators back over his eyes) "What about Vesper?"

Vic: (A dark smile touching his scarred face) "She slipped out through the side grid during the shooting. She took her thirty percent cut of the medical haul to secure her new footing in the North District."

Nutzz: (Looking around at Roxy leaning on her car, Mikhail wiping grease off his lances, Devika stacking the papers, and Doc checking the vials) "Let her take the North Side. We have the medical supply, a full crew, and the city has no idea we’re coming."

Vic: "Season's over, kid. What's the plan for tomorrow?"

Nutzz: "Tomorrow... we buy Torn City."

The camera slowly pans out from the hanger dock, moving past the silhouettes of the crew toward the glowing neon skyline of Torn City in the early morning haze.

NEON & LEAD | Season 2, Episode 1: "Shadows from the Past"

Location: Torn City (Vic’s Garage / The Rust Works Chemical Vault Safehouse)

Time: Late Summer, 1985 — 11:45 PM

SCENE I: Warm Beer & Spent Cash

Audio Track: The Cure – A Forest

Months had passed since the forty-million-dollar syndicate vault heist, but the stench of grease, stale tobacco, and dried rain still clung to Vic’s garage. Warm yellow light spilled over the cluttered workbench where Nutzz sat adjusting the sights on a disassembled sidearm, his dark Aviators reflecting the dim bulb above. Across from him, Old Man Vic cracked open two cheap cans of warm beer, the sharp hiss cutting through the quiet night.

Vic: (Slamming a beer down onto the iron table, wiping foam from his scarred chin) "Look at us. Millions split, and we’re still sitting in the dark drinking three-cent warm draft."

Nutzz: (Without looking up, clicking a spring into place) "We knew the rules, Vic. You don't flash forty million in Torn City unless you want a target painted on your spine."

Vic: (Taking a long swig, chuckling bitterly) "Tell that to the rest of the crew. Everyone spent their cut like the world was ending tomorrow."

SCENE II: The Paper Trail of Greed

Audio Track: Front 242 – Masterhit

Vic leaned back against a heavy iron paper-cutter, pulling a cigarette from his pack. He exhaled a long stream of smoke into the dim air.

Vic: "Roxy didn't even wait for the blood on the vault floor to dry. She blew half her share on a twin-turbo setup, custom nitrous rigs, and imported German racing slick tires for her Charger—then bought out half the mechanics down at the Docks just to keep her garage secret."

Nutzz: (Reassembling the slide of his pistol with a metallic snap) "And Doc?"

Vic: "Living like a king in a sewer. He bought out a black-market pharmaceutical distributor, stocked a hidden laboratory with pure military-grade combat stimulants, and secured real trauma inventory."

Nutzz: "And Devika?"

Vic: "She tried to play it smart. Bought high-end West German printing presses, stacks of rare linen-cotton rag paper, and vintage chemical dye vats to expand her underground forgery ring. She built a fortress in her cellar—thought her paper trails were invisible."

Nutzz: (Taking off his Aviators, his gaze cold) "And Mikhail?"

Vic: "Mikhail went back to his scrap yard. He bought three industrial-grade oxygen generators, a fresh fleet of heavy hydraulic compactors, and enough thermal lance gear to melt half the city. He even bought his guard dog a spiked titanium collar... thought he was untouchable."

Nutzz: (Putting his Aviators back on) "The money bought everyone luxury, Vic. But it also bought visibility. Syndicate money doesn't just disappear without someone coming to tally the bill."

A sharp, violent pounding suddenly rattled the heavy iron garage door, echoing through the rafters like a gunshot.

SCENE III: The Ruined Forger

Audio Track: Joy Division – Atmosphere

Vic’s hand dropped instantly to the heavy revolver tucked into his belt. Nutzz slid a loaded mag into his pistol with a crisp snap. They stepped cautiously toward the garage side door, their boots crunching on oil-stained gravel.

Through the rain-streaked window, twin red taillights of an unmarked black sedan dissolved into the foggy darkness of the alleyway. Vic threw the bolt open and kicked the heavy iron door wide.

Lying collapsed on the wet pavement of the alley was Devika. Her newly bought silk clothes were ripped to shreds, covered in dirt and dried fluids. Her face was battered purple, her lips split, and blood oozed from a deep cut above her temple. She was barely breathing, her body trembling violently in a state of severe shock as she clutched her torn blouse over her chest.

Nutzz: (Dropping to one knee, wrapping his leather jacket around her shivering body) "Devika! Who did this to you?!"

Devika: (Coughing blood, her voice a broken, hysterical sob) "They... they raided the cellar... two syndicate hitmen... They didn't just smash the presses, Nutzz... They held me down on the workbench... they... oh God, they ****d me... they said it was a message for the crew..."

Vic: (Cursing violently, his voice shaking with absolute fury as he scans the dark alley) "Motherfuckers! Get her inside! I'm calling Doc and the crew right now—we're burning this garage and moving to the safehouse!"

SCENE IV: The Crucified Dog

Audio Track: Ministry – Over the Shoulder

Before Vic could dial Doc's line on the garage wall-mounted rotary phone, the bell shrilled violently. Vic snatched the receiver off the hook.

Vic: (Barking into the receiver, hand white-knuckled around his gun) "Speak!"

Mikhail: (Voice crackling over the static line, breathing heavily, heavy Russian accent tight with raw rage) "Vic... it’s Mikhail. Don't go to my yard."

Vic: "What are you talking about? Devika just showed up at the garage... they beat her half to death and ****d her!"

Mikhail: (Slamming a massive fist against a brick wall over the line, roaring into the microphone) "Blyad! Those syndicate bastards torched my entire shop too! All my new thermal rigs, my oxygen tanks—all fucking ash! And on the front gates... they nailed my dog to the iron cross, Vic! They left him crucified!"

Nutzz: (Stepping up to the phone, listening in, his voice dropping into an icy growl) "Listen to me, Mikhail. Dump your gear and get to the Rust Works chemical vault safehouse underground. We're locking down."

SCENE V: Blood, Tempers, and Nuclear Fallout

Audio Track: Carpenter Brut – Turbo Killer

Hours later, the whole crew was gathered inside the damp, subterranean chemical vault safehouse beneath the abandoned Rust Works refinery. The heavy iron blast doors were sealed tight. In the corner, Doc finished stitching Devika’s head wound and wrapping her cracked ribs, administering a heavy dose of synthetic sedative to calm her trembling. Mikhail paced the perimeter like a rabid animal, his massive fists dripping blood where he had slammed them into the concrete wall.

Mikhail: (Slamming his fist into a steel support pillar, sending a shudder through the room) "We are hiding in a sewer like fucking rats while Devika lies bleeding and my dog burns! I have two thermal torches left in the trunk of Roxy's car. Give me five men, and I will march straight to the Syndicate’s front door and burn every executive alive in their leather chairs!"

Vic: (Slapping the iron workbench hard, glaring furiously at Mikhail) "Shut your fucking mouth and use your brain for once, Mikhail! They have a hundred soldiers, bribed precinct captains, and infinite ammo! You run out there with a torch, and they’ll put fifty rounds of lead through your chest before you even light the pilot flame! We can't win a street war!"

Mikhail: (Turning on Vic, towering over him) "So we sit in the dark and wait for them to throw gas down the air vents?! Look at what they did to her, Vic! Look at her!"

Doc: (Wiping sweat from his forehead, dropping a bloody scalpel onto a tray) "Quiet down, both of you! Her pulse is unstable! And Vic is right—my laboratory is gone, my stashes are burnt. If we get into a prolonged gunfight in the streets, I don't even have enough blood bags or morphine left to patch a single bullet hole! We don't have the supplies for a siege!"

Roxy: (Leaning against a rusted fuel tank, spitting onto the floor) "And running isn't an option either. They tracked Devika’s paper trail, they tracked Mikhail’s scrap orders. The moment we step outside Torn City, syndicate hit-squads will pick us off one by one on the highway."

Mikhail: (Grabbing Vic by the lapels of his jacket) "I don't care about the highway! I want blood! I want their heads on iron pikes!"

Vic: (Shoving Mikhail back hard) "Get your hands off me, Hammer! You want revenge? Dying in an alley five minutes from now isn't revenge—it's fucking suicide!"

Nutzz: (Stepping firmly into the center of the room, unholstering his pistol and slamming the butt onto the iron workbench with a deafening CLANG) "ENOUGH! All of you!"

The room fell dead silent. Everyone turned to look at Nutzz, who stood under the bare lightbulb, his cold, unblinking eyes visible as he slowly slid off his dark Aviators.

Nutzz: "A war of attrition gets us all killed. Running makes us prey. Mikhail's right about one thing—we hit back. But Vic's right about the execution: we don't play their game."

Devika: (Voice raspy and weak from the cot, trembling under the heavy blanket) "Nutzz... they... they took everything from me..."

Nutzz: (Looking down at Devika, his voice dropping into a razor-sharp whisper) "I know. And we’re going to delete them for it. Not just their soldiers—their entire foundation."

Doc: (Squinting suspiciously) "What the hell are you planning, kid?"

Nutzz: "A dirty bomb. We place it directly in the structural basement beneath the Syndicate’s main headquarters tower. Erase their board of directors, their enforcers, their ledgers, and their base in one single nuclear blast."

Doc: (Staring at Nutzz in absolute horror) "A dirty bomb?! Are you out of your fucking mind?! The radiological fallout will contaminate three city blocks for twenty years!"

Nutzz: "Good. That means nobody ever rebuilds their empire on that ground."

Mikhail: (A dark, monstrous grin slowly spreading across his scarred face) "Now that... is how you kill a beast."

Vic: (Taking a long, slow drag from his cigarette, staring intently at Nutzz) "A dirty bomb requires military-grade isotope triggers, heavy detonators, and an explosives specialist who isn't afraid of glowing in the dark. Our heist cash won't cover half of that after what everyone spent on their toys."

Nutzz: (Putting his Aviators back on, an icy, merciless smirk touching his lips) "Then our first move is simple. We pull a fast, dirty score in the South District to get fresh capital, and we find an explosive expert who doesn't mind a little radiation."

NUTZZ88 [4103975]

NEON & LEAD | Season 2, Episode 2: "Unpaid Debts"

Location: Torn City (West Side Underground Laundromat & Syndicate Counting House)

Time: Late Summer, 1985 — 2:15 AM

SCENE I: The Price of Revenge

Audio Track: Joy Division – Transmission

The air inside the subterranean chemical safehouse was heavy with the smell of damp concrete, stale tobacco, and antiseptic. Devika lay unconscious on a rusted cot, wrapped in a blanket, her face dark with bruises. In the dim corner, Doc adjusted an IV drip with trembling, needle-scarred fingers while Mikhail stood leaning against a concrete support pillar, his knuckles white around a heavy iron crowbar.

Vic kicked a wooden crate, sending it splintering across the floor.

Vic: "A dirty bomb in the Syndicate’s lap? Are you fucking insane, Nutzz?! We’re heist men, not terrorists! You detonate a radioactive charge in the middle of Torn City and the whole goddamn military will hunt us down!"

Nutzz: (Standing by the workbench, wiping down a silenced pistol with a rag, his voice smooth as glass) "The Syndicate doesn't play by street rules anymore, Vic. Look at Devika. Look at Mikhail’s yard. They want an all-out war. We either hit them so hard they turn into ash, or we wait in this hole until they throw a thermite grenade down the air shaft."

Mikhail: (His voice a low, guttural growl, eyes burning with cold rage) "Nutzz is right. They crucified my dog on the gate, Vic. I don't care if we burn the whole city to the ground—I want their blood."

Doc: (Wiping sweat from his forehead, leaning against the sink) "If you want that kind of hardware, you need an explosives specialist. And a proper demolitionist who deals in dirty ordnance doesn't take IOUs. We need a hundred grand in clean, unmarked cash just to get him to open his mouth."

Vic: "We spent half our vault cut buying gear and hiding! We don't have a hundred grand lying around!"

Nutzz: (Putting his Aviators back on, the lenses catching the dim yellow light) "Then we go steal it. Tonight."

SCENE II: Cashing Out

Audio Track: Killing Joke – Eighties

Rain poured in heavy sheets over West Side’s Commercial Alley, washing grease and trash into the gutters. Underneath a glowing, flickering neon sign reading "24/7 LAUNDRY & DRY CLEANING" sat a hidden Syndicate money-laundry front. Behind the rows of clacking, industrial washing machines lay a reinforced iron door leading to a subterranean counting house where street-level extortion cash was processed.

Roxy kept the Dodge Charger idling at the mouth of the alley, the V8 engine rumbling like distant thunder. Inside the vehicle, Vic racked the slide of his 12-gauge shotgun with a heavy metallic clack.

Roxy: (Gazing into the rear-view mirror, her dark eyes sharp) "You’ve got two minutes once you blow that door. The West Side patrol precinct is four blocks away. If I hear sirens before you’re out, I’m stepping on the gas."

Nutzz: (Checking the magazine on his machine pistol) "Two minutes is plenty. Mikhail, take the hinges."

Mikhail stepped out into the pouring rain, carrying a heavy twenty-pound sledgehammer. He bypassed the laundromat counter, kicked open the back office door, and brought the sledgehammer down against the reinforced iron vault frame with a deafening CRASH. The lock sheared off, sending molten sparks and metal splinters flying across the linoleum floor.

SCENE III: Blood on the Ledger

Audio Track: Ministry – Stigmata

Vic and Nutzz burst through the ruined doorway into a tight, smoke-filled counting room. Three Syndicate enforcers in silk shirts scrambled for their sidearms behind a long steel sorting table covered in stacks of hundred-dollar bills.

Syndicate Enforcer: "What the fuck—!"

Before the guard could raise his weapon, Vic fired a brutal 12-gauge blast, blowing the man back through a plaster wall. Nutzz stepped forward with surgical precision, raising his suppressed pistol and firing three quick rounds into the remaining two guards. They dropped across the green felt counters, staining the stacks of cash dark crimson.

Mikhail shoved a heavy canvas duffel bag onto the table, sweeping stacks of marked and unmarked bills into it with his massive gloved hands.

Mikhail: "Grab the green! Move!"

Vic: (Scrutinizing the room, his scarred jaw tight) "Nutzz! The desk terminal—it's still logged into the central ledger! Burn it!"

Nutzz: (Slamming his hand onto the desk, grabbing a thick binder of drop-off receipts) "Forget the terminal! Grab the physical ledger! We need the cash and we leave!"

In his rush to scoop up the last bundle of hundred-dollar notes, Nutzz’s sleeve caught the edge of a brass desk lamp, knocking a silent alarm button mounted under the desk frame. A faint, amber warning light began to pulse silently in the corner of the ceiling.

SCENE IV: The Slip

Audio Track: The Sisters of Mercy – First and Last and Always

The crew sprinted back up the concrete steps into the rain-soaked alley, tossing the heavy duffel bag into the Charger’s rear seat. Roxy slammed her foot onto the accelerator, the Charger’s rear tires spinning wildly on the wet pavement before catching traction and tearing away into the fog.

Seconds after the Charger’s taillights vanished around the corner, a dark, unmarked sedan pulled up to the laundromat entrance. A tall man in a tailored trench coat stepped out into the rain—Detective Vance, a high-ranking korumpuotas police investigator on the Syndicate’s payroll.

He walked down the stairs into the blood-splattered counting room, stepping over the fallen enforcers. He knelt by the desk, his gloved hand reaching down to pick up a single item dropped in the rush: Nutzz’s wet, blood-stained nosinaitė, dropped near the smashed door frame.

Vance held the cloth up to the dim neon light, a cold, ruthless smile spreading across his face.

Detective Vance: (Speaking quietly into his two-way radio) "Tell the Chief Auditor we have a trace. The garage crew is back in town... and they’re desperate."
