You’re right I’m just salty at some of the shade I saw early and the doubt. Feels good to see those people eating their words. Truly it was a good hard fought win. And the leadership did an amazing job keeping everything flowing nicely. And the membership acting on orders and holding eachother up and accountable. Truly a well oiled machine you guys got here.

Congrats on a very impressive win, and congrats to everyone who struck it rich in this thread.

Great activity and effective coordination from NLA. Love to see a team work together to achieve an underdog win, even if it ain't my team.

You guys do get a lot of warring done in between the steady barrage of anonymous shit talk. 

I should of bet on this war , I had said I thought ascension would of won this war purely from watching them against cap x ,  Cap x have the stats and mega activity and the gear and I though they were going to stomp ascension so easily but dame they put up a amazing fight and often didn’t ever have control and still keep up with score I literally couldn’t understand it , there team at coming on to blood bag was crazy , like dominos rolling down just one by one they all came on and blood bagged ,  until watching that fight I didn’t know ascension was so strong but really as underdogs they don’t seem to disappoint 

they done so so so so good against cap x.  And they have done ever better here , 

well done ascension extremely strong team

Seems like Diamond is getting shaken up with all the battle hardened plat factions getting pushed up.
Us and NLA are old rivals, but excited to see this win. GG! 

It is, of course, all to easy to get carried away in the wake of an against the odds win, so it’s important to maintain a sense of perspective and humility.

But nevertheless, questions must be asked … and not: “Who will Ascension defeat next?”  

But rather: “Will Ascension EVER lose another ranked war?”

I told you the matchup wasn't all that crazy! ;) I think people thought I was trying to take the piss with this comment, but I genuinely meant it. 

I spoke with Rawk a bit after this comment about our experience fighting HT and how NLA could do better than we did with their higher stat average and median. Hence me making my original bets unavailable.

Speaking about it and doing it are two entirely different things, though. Super impressive job by NLA to actually get it pushed over the line!!

I don't agree with the anon message and I hope it didn't come from one of my members. 

It was a fun battle and a fortunate matchup for us in that our strengths (turtling and timing) played to your one weakness, which is being very localized time zone wise. 

When HT was on in their up time we didn't have a chance at taking the board. We do like to fight win or lose, so I hope we gave you some fun at least by continuing to push throughout your up time instead of hiding. Most of our pushes we knew we would not have a chance to turn the board, but it was still worth it to bash our knuckles as much as our med CD permitted. 

I have great respect for HT and your legacy of being fierce fighters and loyal teammates. Supermikk is a great leader with a great team and it was an honor to compete with you all.

I mean, you folks absolutely smashed it on your organisation and planning (do you ever sleep?!)! Much respect and some lessons learned for sure.
