Curious to hear if anyone is big into fighting games? Also curious to hear who you guys main in your favorite fg's. I try to play a variety of them so I've been playing SF6, Granblue VS, Tekken 8, and Guilty Gear Strive. I'm also EXTREMELY excited for Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls!!

not really happy with the SF6 roster. I was waiting for Sakura, but Yasmine also looks promising (so I just played with friends and played Lily).
Always wanted to get into Granblue and play Zeta, then later Vane and then later (maybe) Sandalphon, but I never bought it.
GGST I played some Venom, but didn't have enough time for GGST (I also love Jack-O, but she is hard), but Venom got me back into the game.
Tekken 8 am I maining Asuka Kazama
BTW Tifa in SF6, but not in Tekken is unexpected
Invincible VS seemed exciting and the open beta was good, but not good enough for me to play it consistently.
Marvel Tokon seems really great and my team would probably be 1. Peni Parker, 2. Loki, 3. Green Goblind and 4. Ghost Rider, but I am not sure if I'll buy it yet
the old fighting games, such as KoF98, KoF02 and SF3 third strike are also really fun to play, but those are just fun for game nights with the boys.
I was interested in a lot smaller anime fighters like BlazBlue, UMI2 and many others too, but never got into them (as they were not worth the price to me, because they wouldn't become a main game.
Currently most hyped for the return of VF6, which will definitely be bought and played for tons of hours.
What about you, mate? Your mains or favourite game?
Edit: playing everything with a Controller, because fight sticks (I want a leverless one) are expensive!
and I love FG's, know a lot, but never really got to play that much, so my most time spent is in TK8 and the rest is below 100h, but still a passion
Hell yeah, I main Clive in Tekken 8 and Ingrid in Street Fighter 6 atm, I might switch to Tifa if she's fun enough. In GBVS I main Siegfried and Versusia. Guilty Gear I main Lucy and Ramlethal
I think my favorite game right now is definitely SF6, but I think Marvel Tokon might change that since its definitely my most anticipated game for this year. I just wanna play magik because she looks like so much fun with the portals and set ups she can do
Hey Nahobino or any other readers of this post. I just remembered this thread and thought, that I should do another post.
Do/did you also play any of the old fighting games? I had a little third strike phase with a friend. I personally like KoF 02, but my friend doesn't, so I never got into it.
We are having the most of fun in MvC2, where I am playing War Machine, Silver Samurai and Amingo.
Updates on current games: I dropped TK8 a while ago and only kept playing it for a few months to fight with friends and switched to GGST, where I am still constantly playing and learning Venom (even though it feels painful to lose against some piss easy characters, when I am playing a mechanically more complex one)
So ... do you have any stories like that?
